  • FINALLY I GOT MY FIRST TOP COMMENT!!!

  • @SleightTrain AS DID I!!! \(^w^)/

  • I noticed that all the towns and cities in Johto all have to do about plants.

  • @Huskfinity Nintendo did the same in Kanto with different shades of colors.

  • 1. Google "YouTube to mp3 converter" and go to the first selection

    2. Copy link of video and paste onto website

    3. Download and play on repeat.

    Infinite memories :')

  • @orangebhuddy29 THANK YOU.<3

  • Why must the good days be over?

  • I miss seeing gameboy games behind the shelves at stores now days all i see is call of duty and that kind of shit...

  • THE PARK IS IN THE SHAPE OF A POKEBALL. MIND BLOWN.

  • When I was 5 years-old, I got a GB:Color and Pokemon Silver, from my uncle, on my trip to the US. I remember just being engrossed on this journey with my Typhlosion and just travelling this amazing universe. The landscapes, the music, the adventure, it was heaven. Then going to a whole new place (Kanto) was beyond words. I'm fifteen now and I pity those who never got to experience what I did.

  • @sebbyslug thats real talk yo

  • @sebbyslug My thoughts exactly brother. I was in the same situation. My cousin gave me his Game Boy Color and i had Crystal at age six.

  • @SleightTrain Hard to believe such a masterpiece of a game existed...that just made my childhood.

  • @sebbyslug Same here.

  • @sebbyslug True that. Great thing I have also gotten that same feeling before.

  • This music is so peacefully calming, it takes me back to the days when my older sister just got her new pokemon game, and when I wanted to play, she would take me here, to catch her some more pokemon without ruining her game. Cause thats what older sisters are for...

  • @ketchuplad1 That's what I did with my younger siblings. Except I'm a guy. WHen I first got the game, I would let my Autistic brother play it and he loved it back in '98. He's still addicted to Pokemon. I got my sister into these games, but she liked R/S/E better, which is fine with me cuz I loved those games as much as g/s/c. Now, my little 8 year old brother is into Pokemon. Of course, I don't play it much anymore, I have an xbox, but I do for nostalgia, and I always let my lil brother play

  • @ketchuplad1 the game with me. It's a great family game that brings people closer together. I still love pokemon, but I can't find myself to actually play it unless the siblings want to play. They love it, they know I love it, so they enjoy playing the older games with me. Since the first Gen - 3rd Gen were my generations of pokemon.

  • my friends always sneering at me when I say 'I play pokemon'

what they don't know is, they could put so much epicness in a little card less than 1 gb, more than many games with 20 gb of size

  • The Park: The only place where you can't ride the bicycle and listen to The Park's music in stead of The Bike's music...

  • I never knew the Park was a pokeball!

  • @TheMightyPotter Which Cycling road?

  • bugsy was here ash and whitney are losers

  • What does it look like?!?!? Pokéball, Natu, Unown? Who knows...

  • when I one day become rich I shall create a replica of National Park.

oh and cycling road too ;D

  • lol 0:56 caught me off guard when I first heard this, I'm like hell naw this park is jamming.

  • @ovhan1 me too, my mom would never let me play my gameboy and hid it ( often forever ) so I would have to play in secret and years apart from the last time I played. There are so many memories from this game it is the best game of all time

  • The park looks more like Natu. :/

  • i never noticed the park looks like a train

  • I never really got to hear this song because I was always on my bike when I was here.

  • O m g it looks like an unknown

  • Honestly, I think that playing Pokemon Is much, much more rewarding than that of playing COD. I mean really so what if you're you know 35th prestige xD, which people probably had to no life it for. Having a party of lvl 100s, or more! now, just isn't no life-ing,

Surprisingly it has a much cooler more meaningful title than 'prestige' ,its being a Pokemon Trainer! And or Master!

  • Greatest song of all time. It's my ringtone lol. C,G,and S were the best, hands down. No one game can even compete with these masterpieces

  • Ahh the national park! where the bug-catching contest used to take place! I just noticed right now that the grass looks like a pokeball!

  • The park looks like a bird xD

  • everytime i hear this i want to cry , im on the verge of crying as i speak, something about it just reminds me of my whole childhood and how much i loved pokemon. i could keep going but ill end it here, long live the pokemon series!

  • @ovhan1 I know exactly how you feel. Screw this....I'm going to find a gameboy color and a copy of silver. ;.;

  • @ovhan1 same here, especially with the ruins of alph music. pokemon crystal was my childhood:')

  • I was always jealous of the one trainer in the park who had Raichu. I want Raichu! :'(

  • Who here got the Quick Claw?

  • @lions4life2 I got it everytime.

  • i never noticed the park looks like a pokéball

  • @SleightTrain MIND

    BLOWN

  • @SleightTrain Same with the Clefairy flowers on Goldenrod Gym.

  • Comment removed

  • @SleightTrain It also looks like Natu, atleast to me it does, lol.

  • @SitarKnight i kinda see it.

  • this is the best game of all time

  • oh that game i remember that it use so much batteries that i need to take the batterie from the tv remote to play it >:)

  • Sometimes I'd just keep the game on and stay in National Park just so I could listen to the music. Oh the nostalgia ...

  • 10 people couldn't win the contest on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

10 People couldn't reach the National Park.

  • @bepjr i didnt dislike this (i love it, really). i only got to Goldenrod City! :(

  • @blueshaymin10 Oh, I am so sorry hear that man, that is a bummer. :(

  • @bepjr and then i literally got so mad that i broke my gameboy as i threw it across the room :P I WAS 6 BACK THEN!

makes me wish i was holding that gameboy in my hands...

  • @blueshaymin10 Damn, I know how it feels man. I used to do that a lot. But, thank god my grand father bought me a new game boy each time. :P But, you can buy game boys at Play N Trade.

  • @bepjr you can?! oh my gosh, i feel like going there right now....

  • @blueshaymin10 Yes you can, I bought my Emerald Version and Yellow Version from there since my older one's crashed.

  • i had no idea that the national park was designed after a pokeball!

  • huh so the national park was designed after a pokeball! 12 years lof not knowing. great memories

  • curse you caterpie i always lose those damn bug contests even though i caught a damn scyther

  • I always loved the National Park. It's theme music was/is amazing and the Bug Catching Contest was/is one of my favorite things to do in ANY Pokemon game!

  • I still have my pokemon Gold cartridge from my childhood, all my pokemons and all my progress in the game is still there :)

One of the greatest games in history.

  • We'll go dancing in the dark, walking through the park and reminiscing...

  • I had a preschool i went to as a kid called The Children's Garden. That school back in '98/'99 was where I first got into Pokemon, (collecting cards) and later the games. Yesterday I learned that the school is being shut down and I feel like a piece of my childhood died.

  • 1. Copy watch?v=ne9PTuStZWA and open on Youtube in a new tab.

    2. Play both of them at the same time.

    3. Try to keep them in sync.

    4. EPIC

  • good memories

  • the map looks wierd.......?

  • i just realized that the national park had a pokball shaped grass... wierd

  • @SpiceyWrapGames acutally the whole map looks like an unknown....pretty weird

  • i could listen to this forever

  • ahhh.... The Memories sitting at Reccess everyone else doing something else I had pokemon Silver and Gold i used to play with my dad after school extended care i found the Red Gyrados I was amazed but this song triggers it all now that my buddies have all grown up and don't talk much anymore and my dad has passed away so all that is leftare memories and the nostalgia.....

  • @LeoStarman97 wonderful story :')

  • This song is magically peaceful, it's really magical I just can't explain it.

Why do kids get excited from killing virtual people?

I got excited each time I progress in Pokemon when I was a kid! I miss it!

  • @alvin4351 i know how that feels i was maybe 6 or 7 when i got my crystal version and me, my mom, & my sister all played this & I didn't beat the game when I was 9 it took us like 2 years to beat lance but when I did i got so excited I ran all around the hotel we were staying in on vacation screaming "I BEAT LANCE" memories

  • yoooo... I am SUCH a geek! I love it though. I would sit in this park and just plug my earphones in and kill my battery just sitting in here, listening to the song. This is my favorite song from any pokemon game (I have all of them) ever!! I still want a pokemon so bad...

  • Wild Me appeared!

    GO! NOSTALGIA!

    USE NOSTALGIA!

    It's a critical hit!

  • Pokemon is the better of the two though =3

  • Pokemon-

    Fake but people enjoy it

    WWE-

    Fake but people enjoy it

    WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

  • Wow,

    I remember this theme.

Hanging with my friends in a park,

    this in a stereo,

we would beat the game over and over and over...

  • Wow. Gold/Silver/Crystal really had the best music out of all of the games :'(

  • YouTube - Look! Miniskirt - Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald OST

  • National Park is the only place where i don't use bike.

  • this is one of those songs that just makes you tingle all over with nostalgia

  • It's odd how this song can be so emotional. I wish that there were more songs like this on this world

  • seriously how can the people in the national park who stay there all day survive with this music playing :( its pretty sad, especially in terms of nostalgia, brings back the memories :)

/ bet those guys who sit around near the entrance with their gameboys have flat batteries after all these years ROFL

  • Comment removed

  • I'm 19.

    I'm in college.

    I'm in the ROTC.

    WHY AM I CRYING, THEN?!?

  • @killerkirbydude similar story with me.

  • its actually ridiculous how emotional this song makes me.

not because of the music, just because of the nostalgia. and the intense memories.

and knowing its never going to exist again.

ugh, what i would give for my childhood again...

  • who else thinks the fucked up pokemon?

  • I want this played at my funeral, honestly.

  • @TheBaconToastie Me too

  • I was so ticked when my cartridges all stopped saving. Music is still amazing though.

  • In 3rd grade, my parents told me I was moving far away. Very far away.

I told my 3 best friends I was leaving. One of them gave me her copy of Pokemon Crystal.

I trained her Pokemon hard, and never restarted the game.

One day, the file was erased. Even though I lost my whole team, I kept the cartridge.

5 years passed and at last I moved back home and saw my friends once again. But they changed.

This song makes me remember the good old days of when me and my friends played Pokemon together.

  • @taijutsugal yeah people change. A lot. In 10th grade a girl was very nice and even copied pokemon songs I wrote. I didn't see her for 6 months, and when I did, she was now a bounty hunter who was in love with old guys with expensive cars and who told me to shut my fucking mouth up when I greeted her.

  • @elperretebueno yeah, i know some people that changed to that extent, too.

  • @taijutsugal :(

  • @taijutsugal i know how that feels i moved for a year when i came back the summer after i found my best friend moved, my younger cousin once that sweet little girl who was like your younger sister a alcoholic who smokes and drinks, my school were i graduated from elementary school had fired my 6th grade teacher who was AWESOME and now the girl im in love with we used to talk everyday but after summer and were back in school and now she barely talks to me dont you hate how things change over time

  • @englandarcher10 and i didnt mention my godfather died, uncles house burned down, aunt was in the hospital, my old school closed down, etc...

  • @taijutsugal dont you just hate how things change overtime

  • @taijutsugal Same here man, This happened to me. This game brings back memories

  • @Twallsx4 cheers.

  • @taijutsugal You gave me goosebumps! :'(

  • @taijutsugal That story brings me to tears.

...and I have had such a similar experience too.

  • @PsychoticSorcerer666 unfortunately, thats how lots of friendships turn out. only the true ones stay gold :)

  • @taijutsugal you touched my heart. I know how you feel. Don't you just hate how life changed over the years

  • @ShaunEboi523RatedR Yeah, but it pays off in the end, when you actually meet people that will stay with you forever.

It just takes time. And time gives you knowledge, which becomes strength. I just decided to share my story here to see if anyone agrees. :)

  • I just noticed the obvious - THE PARK MIDDLE IS SHAPED LIKE A POKEBALL, HOLY CRAP - HOW COULD I MISS SUCH A NICE DETAIL OVER ALL THESE YEARS? D:

  • I for some reason don't remember this place but the song is familiar somewhat. guess its time to revisit the past :P

  • Does anyone know how get the item behind the fences?

  • @Sebazztion1994 search for an open gap in the north

  • I never realized that it was in the shape of a Pokéball.

  • The teacher who gave me the quick claw always seemed to annoy me.

  • I did NOT notice it formed a pokéball for the longest time! XD

  • i would go to the park every day if this song played when i walked in.

  • i remeber when there was an item that was blocked off by a wallin this area to this day i still wonder what that item is can anyone tell me what it is

  • @skatemaster213 you can get the item, lol. there's a missing rung on the right of the kid on his laptop in the upper right corner of the park. the item is TM 28-Dig.

  • @skatemaster213 the move dig and a paralyze heal

  • Walk in the park. <3

  • this NEEDS to be a park in real life

  • @thecookiecutter100

No, Pokemon needs to be real life!!!

  • @accountwhereiam18

That would be awesome! No more car insurance or plane tickets, I'd just fly around with Pidgeot all day to get to where I want to go.

  • this isn't nostalgic for me. It's more mystical and otherworldly. I feel like there is a place after death when I hear this. It sounds like the mystery of nightime.

  • I cried so hard when I realized I threw away my Pokemon Silver, Crystal, special edition Pikachu Gameboy Color that changed color from silver to gold, Gameboy Advance SP and Pokemon Sapphire by accident. Moving sucks ass!

  • It's a Natu!!!!!

  • I wish this theme played in my local park.

  • i had no idea that the grass made a poke ball

  • This was my favorite song next to Goldenrod.

I think that gold/silver/crystal had the best soundtrack of all the Pokemon games. (Then again I haven't played passed that XD)

  • @titojwonnie Yeah I agree and also Diamond and Pearl has the best soundtrack as well

  • @senyorita2astigin Really? I'll check it out. 8D

  • 240p was the 720p back in the day

  • Thumbs up id you just realized, right now, that National Park is shaped like a pokeball. No thumbs, well let me just slap myself.

  • this brings back my childhood=[ so sad...i remember i was just sitting there on my bike and then i randomly decided to press the up button and walked into the secret entrance in the fence haha...wish i cud go back...wen i knew nothing of pokemon...and wen only the first 2 generstions came out

  • The only thing that made my childhood in the streets worth living is this game. The only escape from reality to the world I wish to live in, even now.

SCREW YOU, POKEMON, WHY AREN'T YOU REAL!?!?!!!?

  • this one was my favourite...I listened to it at night, when I go sleep until the battery was empty....good times :)

  • you know something? in my neighborhood, in one day in summer, i will go out

with my friend on his roof, we will set up boom boxes, and turn this music all

the way up. I will start a new tradition in summer.

  • I have several things that need to be said.

    1. I never noticed that the fountain looked like a Pokeball.

    2. This song is so awesome, it should be the ending music.

    3. You have to listen to this one m0:00re time!

  • During the end of 7th grade, a childhood friend I liked moved away.

In the beginning, the overwhelming tension of unrequited love was crushing me.

I shouldered the burden all these years...until I found out she wasn't going to stay for long. I felt like my whole world has just crumbled. The only thing I have left of her was the copy of Gold Version she gave me a while back.

Every time I hear this song, I can see her light smile.

    RIP, my childhood. 2004-2010.

  • @IIIIIZZZZAAAYYYYYYAA You didn't tell her how you felt. You're gonna live with that regret for the rest of your life. You better find her and ask her out. Damn whatever gets in your way.

  • @IIIIIZZZZAAAYYYYYYAA

Oh my God. Relax.. you're acting like your freaking parents died when you were born. It's not that big of a deal...we all move on sometime anyway.

  • @IIIIIZZZZAAAYYYYYYAA

I have a worse and worser stories'...

but i do feel for you. :)

Pokemon saved my life about a decade ago...

  • @PKMN43v3r

20 years old and I still play Pocket Monsters as if my mom bought my first Blue Version for my old Game Boy Color as well as my first pack of Base Set cards in the late 1990's and early 2000's...

Those days will never die in my eyes

  • @PKMN43v3r The beauty of video games like Pokemon is that they create so many memories and stories that we can all share, whether they are good or bad. Pokemon is the reason I live today. It is one of the few things that give me hope in this world.

  • @IIIIIZZZZAAAYYYYYYAA Everyone knows that feel bro.

  • @IIIIIZZZZAAAYYYYYYAA Now im sad :'(

  • @IIIIIZZZZAAAYYYYYYAA Way to make me cry :(

  • @IIIIIZZZZAAAYYYYYYAA My childhood was 1996-2006. 2007 through now sucks. >:o

  • @Zarek49 Yeah, too many children not playing Pokemon, Mario or Zelda. THEY PLAY CALL OF DUTY HHNNNNNGH

  • @dmlsidh Call of Duty is the biggest waste of money and time I have ever yet seen. I played Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, CoD4, 3, and 2. None of them were even close to fun.

  • @Zarek49 I saw the saddest thing yesterday. At my local card shop, I saw a nine year old kid playing Modern Warfare 3 or whatever it was. I asked him, "Hey, you should be playing Pokemon! Not this game!' He said he didn't know what pokemon was. What happened to this generation?

  • @Moonlightvulpix Their parents forgot what was cool and tried to teach them what they think is currently cool. Even if it isn't cool. I am 18 right now and won't have kids for a while, but when I do, I am teaching them about Pokemon!

  • @Zarek49 Indeed. What needs to happen though is in twenty years or so, someone (like me) needs to go to Nintendo and revive pokemon. What I mean is to literally reproduce the games and anime, keeping them the same but with enhancements. That is my dream.

  • @Moonlightvulpix I believe anything after Hoenn (when they started making games for the DS and not the GameBoy) was a mistake.

  • @Zarek49 Sadly enough, I sort of agree with you. I loved Diamond/Pearl, but it didn't live up to pokemon standards...

  • @Moonlightvulpix Diamond and Pearl was iffy to me, but no, it did not live up to the standards. Then they brought about Black and White, which just failed beyond the epic fail line. I miss my classical Pokemon. D:

  • @Zarek49 I know right. I don't play shooters so much anyway, but when i do i would like a good one lol

  • I'm going to walk from my house (I don't live too far from a park) with the New Bark Town theme, cross the street and enter Route 42 music, then when I get to the park I am going to put this theme on and have everybody stare at me like I am crazy. Then I will enter an abandoned house and put on the Lavender Town theme that destroyed your childhood.

  • I love this music and after 10 years of playing this game i finally got that secret item in the park only to find out it was a paralyze heal.....I love pokemon

  • I just realized that the grassy parts of the park and the fountain look like a Pokeball!

  • I miss the old days of playing pokemon with my mom

  • favorite song from the game.

  • the GB player on HG/SS version plays this theme at too high a pitch imo.

ruins it :( nowhere near as good as the classic gold silver

  • Wait wait wait... The national park is only lie, 30 feet long?

  • Oh god I used to just stand around here and listen to the music. So calming.

National Park may be my favorite song in the entire pokemon franchise.

  • 9 people didnt won the Bug match

  • Comment removed

  • Nintendo screwed up major. Today's Pokemon shouldn't even be called Pokemon. It hasn't earned the right Everything up to 2005ish IS legendary and awesome. It will always have a meaning to me. But today's kids are not experiencing the same show/games I did. Its not too late! :/

  • This is the most beautiful song in Pokemon(sniffs) whoawhoa tune change I LIKE IT

  • By far one of the best games ever made

  • i swear i will spend millions of dollars just to recreate this fucking park!!

    COMPLETE WITH THE DAMN FOUNTAIN!

  • IT MADE A POKEBALL?! HOW COULD I NOT HAVE NOTICED?!

  • *snuff* i miss the good old days *snuff*

  • summer's about to end.. we're about to start school again.. it's sad and no one wants summer to end but this song reminds me the memories about all the fun times i had with my friends and happiness (:

  • This track reminds me of dreams, ambitions and hope; A time when I had no responsibilties and thought I had boundless potential to succeed in whatever I wanted to do. Somewhere along the path of life we can all lose our way but we have to keep strong and remind ourselves of who we once were and what we once believed we could be. Whether you are an old guy like me or someone cutting their teeth; there's only one piece of advice I can give; never give up on your dreams and don't betray yourself.

  • @DarkMuffinz17

Your coment was pretty sweet ^^

    Have a good day

    (sorry for my english >.<)

  • Am I the only one who thinks the park looks like a HEAD?

I mean seriously, the pond is the EYEBALL and the building all the way to the right is the LIPS.
