Now there's cartoons for toddlers young kids, and for the young teens there's these stupid family channel real-life shows. Where did all those cartoons for older elementary and preteens (or teens???) go?
I used to love all these shows when I was younger, and it's sad that all today's preteens are stuck with is Hannah Montana (barf) and Phineas and Ferb.
I'm sad they don't show these shows anymore. I miss the early 2000's :(

I missed the 1990s. Back then, my favorites from the 1990s were Super Mario Bros. 3, The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog, Dexter's Lab, and The Powerpuff Girls. My most favorite now, from the 1990s is I Am Weasel. The stuff they've got out now, in the late 2000s and '10s suck.

I watched a house of mouse tape when i was sick and they had a peppered anne skit with her mom telling to stay away from the evil villian at the bus stop. Oh God I miss watching those shows with dad during lunch time in the family room.
I remember I was five when they cancelled Bear and the Big Blue House and I cried. My mom bought me a whole bunch of the tapes so I would feel better and I watch them to this day to relive child memories.... :')
I haven't been around long but I've been around enough to remember classic shows like these. It's really a shame to see what Disney Channel and Nickelodeon is turning into these days. It seems as if they practically host any show just because they're getting paid for it, and it's sad because you see this crap like I'm In The Band, Victorious, So Random, etc. We've got to help put an end to this.

My friends and I had an idea for Cartoon Network/Turner Broadcasting to run a channel somewhat like Boomerang that runs all of the Cartoon Cartoons (ed, edd, eddy, Dexters Lab, etc) basically their 1992-2004 lineup plus greats like Toonami and obviously some later shows cause a few were good. We would have to pay more for that channel like boomerang. Lets get back quality shows!

As told by ginger I include here only because it began in 2000 so technically it fits. So making my kids watch all the old TV shows...Gargoyles as well

@Schooled57 Yeah. Rurouni Kenshin too was a story of epic proportions. I think they showed that in like, the earlie 90s to around 2002 on cn. Holly crap they let children watch anime on tv back then! Damn what the hell happened to tv?! I can barely ever see anime on adult swim anymore. They just show the same, boring crap every night now from what I can tell. I'm pretty sure InuYasha is still on some times but not as often anymore. I miss the old days. :-(
