I completely understand your statement about comments of being "inspirational". Our community of individuals with disabilities are just doing what it takes to move on in life and still do what they love. People don't see our personal struggles,only we do and the people closest to us. What they do see, when we are in our chairs continuing to do what we love, they see the strength in individuals who continue to press on despite their circumstances and that is uplifting.
Great to seethat there are other disabled musicians getting up on a stage, I used to be on a band myself which is now disbanded, but I'm working on putting a new one together.
Only thing that bothers me sometimes is when people say we are "inspirational", i dont really feel like such,I'm just trying to make the most of my life.
