@Lights0ut1109 Actually, that was Brett's brother, Todd Bodine. If my memory serves me correctly, Brett suffered a concussion & a borken clavical (collarbone). He is now the pace car driver for the Cup Series.

I remember seeing an interview with him either the day after, or the week after (not sure which). His face was black and blue, and he had a few chipped teeth.

He looked almost as rough as brother Geoffrey did after his Daytona wreck! But, of course, not quite as bad.

That crash looks a lot like Kyle Petty's crash at the brickyard in 1996, although Kyle hit more walls, and they were harder and concrete. Stuck throttle is scary.

@d0re Dale didn't hit the wall directly head on, he hit it at an angle. I think that that is what DW was refering too.
