  • He is no more than a third string QB, worth no more than the league Minimum.

  • I googled Curtis Painter and it brought me to a prosthetics website, all guys with no arm.

  • lol, how'd that prediction work out for you?

  • Curtis Painter is an absolute legend. He has my vote for first ballat hall of famer..his ability to lead the colts this to an undefeated season is AMAZING DURP I FUCK YOUR MOTHER SUCK MY PIXELS IN THIS VIDEO? ID HAVE A NICKEL

  • Some people frivolously believe that American Football is like Basketball or volleyball, where one player really makes the difference; e,g., Lebron James and The Cleveland cavaliers. Painter is an average QB and probably at the same level than other QBs who get more publicity. The real point here is that Colts players don't wanna play and they wanna see Caldwell fired. They know that people will blame painter for that and their images will keep stainless.

  • curtis painter is the best thing (other than peyton manning) to hapen to the colts. he is sacrificing his career to give the colts andrew luck.

  • @cflasch75

And FINALLY someone good at the CB and DT position.

    PS.

Fili Moala is the worst Colts DT since LaJuan Ramsey and by far the worst DT in the NFL.

  • Curtis Painter needs to take up anouther career, such as painting

  • hall of fame talent.look where hes takin the colts.had to bench payton cuz hes too good...just look at em

  • curtis its going back to being a painter after this year

  • he aitn sucking too much now grasd2

  • Why wast time making this?

  • He has all the physical tools, he just needs to get over the nerves I think. He COULD be a viable backup, but Colts fans need to give him a chance, the coaching needs to give him a chance, and he has to give himself a chance.

  • @chaas013 He has a strong arm and makes good decisions. Unfortunately, his accuracy might be the worst that I've ever seen from a starting NFL QB.

  • "Curtis Painter is accurate"... Umm only when he trains.

  • Hands down the biggest mistake the colts have ever made... That goes for his parents too

  • @Phish028 Wanna say that now ?? Hes doing a good job in trying to tie the game against the NFL most feared defense

  • @Phish028 Correction.. he just tied it hahaha

  • @Phish028 id say signing collins was worse. painter isnt THAT bad...the fact is and ill admitt it as a colts fan...they suck!! manning truly carried that team, any QB (besides manning) with no run game, no pass protection and no defense is gunna struggle even someone like tom brady...so when u take a young QB with no experience the result wont be pretty. not to mention his first playing time in his career was against the freaking jets, but you can see him gain some confidence as he continues.

  • The next Alex Smith right here folks. LOL

  • WELL PAINTER JUST NEEDS TO GO PAINT OR SOMETHING....ITS MORE HIS STYLE

  • im a Colts fan and i think he sucks

  • "most pro ready quarterback in the draft" SUCK MY DICK DUMBASS

  • they went 14-2

  • He almost looks like a junior Peyton Manning. Quick release, reads the field fast. I know he sucked a few years ago when he took Manning's place during their 13-3 season. But....give him sometime. I remember when John Elway totally sucked too. He forgot to line up behind the center in one game and got booed.

  • It's easy to do these types of throws during DRILLS, but why not analyze a REAL college game!?! Basically, this entire video is useless. Curtis Painter is the proof in the pudding. Look at his preseason 2010 performance against the Redskins... a botched hand-off, 2-3 interceptions, a strip fumble, poor decision making... I don't see anything in this video that was demonstrated to me at the NFL level.

  • I'm a die hard packers fan, been with them through the 5-11 seasons, the OT championship losses, through favre retiring, then coming back, playing for the jets, retiring, and playing for the vikings beating us, and then us beating him, and through a loss to the lions to a lombardi trophy. But I've seen painter play at purdue, he's following in the footsteps of a legend, he's a good QB, He kind of reminds me of AARON RODGERS?!?!?!? lol thats a big maybe colts fans.

  • @packerbacker16 Wow I said the samething. Look at Farve and Look at Peyton. Look what Rodgers did. Look what Painter will do after Peyton.

  • COLTS ALL DAYYYY!!!!!!

  • r u guys serious? he was a rookie running petyon manning's offense. this video's right that he has first round ability but the colts took him knowing it was gonna take a few years.

  • Comment removed

  • who here hopes that if manning gets injured painter doesnt take over lol

  • This may be all fine and dandy then, but Curtis Painter can't throw for shit... If you look at his Regular Season Stats... 8-28 (28.6%), 0 TD's, 2 INT's, 83 Yards, 9.8 QB Rating (2 Games)... well if you're not convinced by that, look at his preseason stats... 64-115 (55.7%), 1 TD, 6 INT's, 753 Yards, 56.9 QB Rating (8 Games)... that's terrible...

  • Curtis Painter sucks black mens weiners

  • "Curtis Painter might be the most pro-ready QB in the 2009 Draft" that's a lie and the truth is no where in it.

  • Curtis Painter really really sucks.

  • well he sure hasn't looked very good so far. I saw sorgi kicking some ass with the giants against the jets the other night. why we didn't keep him is a mystery to me. I know they can pay painter less so maybe their thinking ahead because peytons contract is about up and they need to hang on to as much money as they can.

  • HAHAHA u colts fans fucked over your own QBs confidence!!!

  • Okay.

About Painter's performance against the 49ers today.

    Totally his fault. Sorry.

  • I don't think it was painter's fault that Indy lost to the jets in week 16, Caldwell put in all the back ups while the jets put in their starters, not that much of a fair contest, but Indy had a playoff spot, jets were trying to get a spot

  • First round my ass, more like NEVER

  • @xmadman31 He was in the top5 on the HEISMAN WATCH LIST before his Senior season, he just didnt play very well that year.

  • @xmadman31

    ROFL

  • @xmadman31

You know draft day I was amazed he was even drafted.

  • bum bum bummmm

  • I was at the game and most of all the boos were directed at Caldwell and most of us felt like Caldwell didn't really care about what the fans wanted. Most people think we were booing painter, but I know I was booing Caldwell who decided it was time for him to coach the colts instead of sitting back and letting peyton do everything like he had been doing all year.

  • @disturbedeleven yea I was at that game too, and I felt really bad for Painter. I think our boos practically killed his confidence.... oh well hopefully Caldwell learned his lesson.

  • Curtis Painter isn't yet ready to be a backup QB in the NFL.

Jeff George is available and wants an NFL team to sign him as a backup QB. George has lots of NFL experience. Jamie Martin and Brian Griese are among other experienced QBs who are available to be signed by the Colts.

Painter may be a good QB in a few years. But he isn't ready yet. If Peyton Manning's injured and the Colts fail to sign George, Martin, Griese, or another experienced QB to be their backup, they are in trouble

  • the problem with all of the guys you just listed is that they all are in their 30's and 40's. Plus the Colts have Jim Sorgi who is a very good backup quarterback. Painter is good as well, he just needs to work at it so he does better in his next game.

  • U fucking colts fans need to shut the fuck up!

if ur gonna blame ur loss on someone then blame it on Caldwell not a rookie Qb who is taking his first NFL snap at his own 10 yard line and facing the number 2 defense in the whole NFL

    Stupid ass fuckers

Learn some goddamn sense u fucktards

  • no real colts fan cares, thats not a real loss they pulled everyone so who cares

  • I'm a Colts fan and i completely agree with you. It was totally unfair to expect a rookie QB to do much deep into his own territory, let alone against the #1 pass defense in the NFL. Colts fans should be ashamed at their behavior towards him

  • im a colts fan and i take back everything i said about him. a 15-0 season is on the line you have the on your 15 yard line, your playing against the #1 pass defense in the league, your taking the 1st snap and everybody is booing you, myself being a starting QB for my high school i would be fucking nervous like hell.

  • @dcos510 Jets aren't the number 2 defense.

  • Its not easy 2 pass the ball when all ur starting receivers r sitting out. Who do u expect him 2 pass the ball 2. I think his throws were very accurate today, but the receivers barely got any seperation frm the defenders. So he had 2 force the ball into incompletions.

Blame the coach 4 sitting out his recievers, not Painter!

  • Fuck Painter he lost us the perfect season !!!

  • i know, i was booing him at the game. everybody was booing the bitch.

  • What the fuck do you expet when your shitty coach throws a rookie into the game with all the pressure of being 15-0.

  • Well.....I guess we'll see how well he does in the last 2 games since Manning probably won't be playing.

  • looks good

  • Better than Sorji!

  • Colts drafted him in the 6th round what a shocker hope he doesn't turn out like hometown guy jeff george

  • I say denver broncos in 4th round. He fits mcdaniels mold as far as qb's.

  • the funny thing about that is that denver already has a better version of painter. Painter really is a kyle orton II. product of the same system.

  • lol easy to go through 3 reads in a drill with zero pass rushers. heh

    1:40

  • Great Video he is too far under the radar
