i feel like everyone spell the chinese pinying differently for this song. i'm confused. is there a standardized way to spell chinese pinying?????

all the Thai songs are easy to sing along because the thai pinying is standardized across the board in every thai song that used english phonics. all Thai words in every thai song is spelled using english phonetically so it's easy to read and sing.

why chinese pinying is so different from person to person song from song?????????

@Aikynbreusov first of all, Chinese is a pretty (big) race. what others( not chinese ) don't know is, Chinese is a nation with many many mixed-race minorities, and yes because we all look alike. So others (not chinese ) can't tell the difference. sec, there are so many dialect in china, but over all the 2 major language in china is the official language mandarin(i think 60% of people spoke it), and the other one is Cantonese（20%）. the song is in cantonese, so the 『pinyin』are in cantonese tonal.

@Aikynbreusov if the song is in Mandarin than the pinyin are in Mandarin tonal. So if you learning a song is cantonese, learn it from the hongkong folks, but if the song you learning is mandarin, learn it from the mainland chinese. remember they're difference. and also ever since Chinese are all over the world right now, whenever they split ( like move to other countries), somehow they'll have their way to fuckup their own language ( i mean in pinyin ).they'll make it up themselves.

@MrsBanBan Practice, practice, practice. Cantonese is a tonal language so the distinction of tones is very important. Do not be afraid to incorrectly pronounce a word.

If you don't, there might be some reasons. 1st: u're not speaking cantonese fluently( ur beginner). 2nd: or you might not understand because of accent ( different from west, east, or fujian). thats not true... just because you know letters and can form a word and say it properly doesn't mean you know what the words mean. and those who don't understand the cantonese they hear/sing/phonetically read just aren't on a fluent enough level to understand it. Chinese songs are often not as direct as english songs, there are alot of (for lack of better words) similes/metaphor
