Some like it, some not. I find the melodies great, the drama is alive and it all depends of the recording how a voice comes out. You guys should hear some Singer without their expensive gear and live, which shows how much one can do with technology to get a voice to perfection. Talents like Tarja or Simone are rare.

This is nothing against women as a sex; so you do not have to start any sort of Feminist flame war, it's simply just a fact. Truth be told, Blackthorn are not really that good, but quite average. The female vocals have some talent, and that's usually the only position a female has big success in... plus, every guy knows: to get famous, just have a female singer!
