Last year, the Big 10 was down (will be a little better this yr) and they didnt have the usual marquee opponent, not much they could do about that. Also, not their fault they went from 5 to #1 in the last 2 weeks from other teams losing. You want them to refuse the invite to the NC or something? OSU played like crap in that game, certainly not their best performance. Either way, they should be very good next year and will play a harder schedule, earning the NC spot if they get it.

Whats Michigan's record against SEC teams? Whats the Big Ten's overall record against SEC teams? The Big Ten is usually a good conference, and OSU usually schedules good nonconference teams (Texas, USC, Miami, Va teach..) last year was a little bit of an exception. Against Florida OSU got whooped, but they did have some good games, beating Texas at Texas and Michigan at Michigan, cant say they didnt deserve to be in that game.

USC is the most talented team in the nation this year imo, and they have been since 2003 really...i respect them for that, but the one problem with them is that they have a tendency of over looking teams...They could have won every national championship since 2003 with that sort of talent, they just find a way to stub their toe on their way (UCLA in 06, and Stanford in 07).

While I agree that USC is always a power, so is Ohio St. If you look at the records since 2001, OSU and USC have been the two most successful and w/o a dount the two most consistent. Keep your eyes out for Texas Tech. Currently I only have them losing at Oklahoma. They should beat UT this year at home, they always beat the aggies, baylor, KSU, Oklahoma St.(@ home). Kansas lost a lot of their good talent. Pre-conference sweep as well.

Kansas will be destroyed this year, actually having to play UT, OU, and Texas Tech will have them out of the rankings.

USC should be in the National Title game. If an SEC team can keep it to one loss. Big Ten will be shunned this year.
