We own this breed and I believe that this video is VERY wrong. First of all the colors are wrong, and they make excellent house pets. We have Spinones for hunting as well as for house pets and they excel at both. (and the guy says Spinone wrong most of the time. )

Actually, dogs do sweat. People usually get this wrong for over looking the small way dogs sweat. It is a common misconception. Dogs sweat through the pads of their paws. Which are are hairless. That is why the breed, American Hairless Terrier sweats most like a human, since it is...Hairless obviously. They do have sweat glands. So yes they do sweat, just not profusely over the entire body like us. Although Panting and dilating blood vessels, proves more sufficient.
