Sabre has a good reputation. I have one in my car. I might go with a FoxLabs flip top after the Sabre expires, because it's overall operation looks much better.
I highly recommend Spitfire Pepper Spray. It's the best keychain design I've ever seen. It never accidentally discharges, and it's easy to fire under stress. If it's on your keychain, you will always have it with you when you leave the house.
But why do you feel the need? What makes you feel as though you move through a world with a 'threat level'? I realize that violence can happen at any time and in any place. But I never feel threatened. Fear should be a reaction to direct stimuli. After that, it becomes anxiety, which is never healthy. I'm not criticizing. But I am curious.
and who down-dinged this? Don't be an idiot. This person has said that he respects the right of a citizen to carry a personal firearm, and asked a legitimate question phrased in a respectful manner.
I won't speak for him, but personally I carry a firearm because I have chosen to make my personal safety my own responsibility; Instead of relying on the vain hope that everyone I cross pathes with has no intention to ever do me harm.
I guess I depend more on my situational awareness. I know I have avoided bad things in the past by paying attention to my instincts. I do carry a blade daily but I think of it as a tool first and a weapon second. I also tend to notice where the exits are when I enter a building. :)
Situational awareness is important (which is what he meant by "threat level" by the way), and is your primary tool to avoid getting into trouble in the first place. But sometimes trouble finds you. And sometimes the exits don't matter, cause some nut decided to take his frustrations out on a movie theateror maybe you can get away, but others can't. Not saying you need to carry yourself, but "good enough" isn't.
GREAT vid! I also rock ZT knives. I prefer the ZT 0200 myself. The "extra" weight doesn't bother me at all. I'm thinking that I need to pick up the 300 series ones...

I got a thirty of Black T's in my model 21. They won't do anymore damage than those hydrashoks.

I respect your right to carry a sidearm.

Think of it like a fire insurance policy. Even though almost every homeowner has one, less than 1% will ever need it.
However, when you do NEED it, be it the insurance or the gun, there is absolutely no substitute for those them.
