I flew from England to go and see the last two New York shows, and on the second night we got chosen to be moved to the front row by one of Taylors people as an alternative for T-Party as there wasn't one that night. I still can't believe i got to be front row in Madison Square Garden for this song! <3
James Taylor is amazing, that's a given. But to see his finger-picking style when Taylor Swift and the backup band are pick-strumming, it's humorous to watch. Because I can't really tell if he's playing compared to everyone else's arms strumming. :p
I think it would be an honor for any new or old artist to share a stage with James Taylor, and from her intro it was no less for Taylor, she is truly an amazing Young Lady, and how Gracious is JT not to upstage anyone he is sharing a stage with, what a Gentleman. watching this video made me start crying because just think: how happy she must have been in that moment...to sit side by side and play with the man you're named after...wow. Nobody deserves this happiness and recognition more than Taylor. I have met her and she's the most fantastic, sweet, kind person you could ever meet in your entire life. I am not knocking James Taylor by any means, he is in my top three favorite artists ever. I was there and my mom was kind of hesitant on taking my friend and I to the show that night since we're from Delaware and it was in New York, and she said yes and took us. She is really happy she did and so were half of the adults in the arena :)
The funny part is that 90% of the crowd probably does not even know who James Taylor is. Without movies like Remember the Titans and movies from the demographic generation that she draws to her concerts, a majority would have never heard his music. James Taylor is one of the best singer/songwriters ever to walk the earth! He is Top Ten in my book.

Last summer in Wales I actually got to meet James Taylor. He is one of the most kind hearted people you could imagine. He even signed the set list I stole from the stage and spent over an hour meeting his fans, signing and having photos taken.
As for Taylor Swift I know very little about her but she seems to be a very talented decent person.
Thanks to the Beatles, who were the first to sign James Taylor and is still one of musics greatest artist, playing with the new generation of singer/songwriters. This is great to see!

As a loyal fan of Taylor (both of them, but Swift in this case), I have never been more proud than I am at this moment. To have the opportunity to share a stage with one of the greatest songwriters ever for one of his greatest songs is nothing short of magical. How can anyone not like Taylor Swift! she is so kind hearted and a very well rounded female. I wish we had more artist like her. I hope she finds the right guy one day someone who will show her respect and love her. I love her music and her song writing and of course I love her as a human being.

When I watched this performance, I was convinced that I knew this song but I had no idea how, because I don't usually listen to James Taylor music (that's changed!) but I realised it was the song from Remember the Titans when Gary gets hit by the truck and that's why this song is so bittersweet for me. OK, that was awesome!!! In all of James Taylor's awesome career, he probably never played to an audience of screaming teenage girls. His reaction is hilarious! Most probably didn't know a single song or whom he was before that. Nonetheless, TS is truly blessed. She has so much ahead of her yet. Her song 15 says it all, but can be applied to her life presently, as she has no idea what an impact her writing and singing will make if she keeps it up like this. She will be a female James Taylor.

James Taylor is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the last 40 years. He writes both music and lyrics (without the help of 20 co-writers), fantastic acoustic guitar player and has one of the most beautiful & distinctive voices out there. Taylor S must have been in heaven to have the opportunity to perform with him. @dwright230 Dude. Taylor Swift doesn't write songs just for 12 years. A lot of her fans are different ages. I'm 23 and I think Taylor is amazing. But it's not her songwriting, guitar or vocal skills that mesmerize me. It's her energy and love for her fans. She's genuinely an emphatic person and I think that's the best quality any human being can have.
She writes of things EVERY girl goes through and she does so in an honest and raw manner, and wraps it up in a fun show. What's not to love?

Last summer in Wales I actually got to meet James Taylor. He is one of the most kind hearted people you could imagine. He even signed the set list I stole from the stage and spent over an hour meeting his fans, signing and having photos taken.
As for Taylor Swift I know very little about her but she seems to be a very talented decent person.

To have the opportunity to share a stage with one of the greatest songwriters ever for one of his greatest songs is nothing short of magical. When I watched this performance, I was convinced that I knew this song but I had no idea how, because I don't usually listen to James Taylor music (that's changed!) but I realised it was the song from Remember the Titans when Gary gets hit by the truck and that's why this song is so bittersweet for me. OK, that was awesome!!! In all of James Taylor's awesome career, he probably never played to an audience of screaming teenage girls. His reaction is hilarious! Most probably didn't know a single song or whom he was before that. Nonetheless, TS is truly blessed. She has so much ahead of her yet. Her song 15 says it all, but can be applied to her life presently, as she has no idea what an impact her writing and singing will make if she keeps it up like this. She will be a female James Taylor.

James Taylor is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the last 40 years. He writes both music and lyrics (without the help of 20 co-writers), fantastic acoustic guitar player and has one of the most beautiful & distinctive voices out there. Taylor S must have been in heaven to have the opportunity to perform with him. (Just like Zach Brown was) It shows a lot about Taylor S that she appreciates and respects the great artists that paved the way for her. Very nice video--thanks 4 posting!

Well last Sunday The young lady 'only' picked up THREE of the BIGGEST AWARDS in AMERICAN MUSIC and she had her priorities straight, concentrating on the Program and the Presentations instead of indulging herself by watching her 13 straight minutes on PRIMETIME CBS '60 Minutes' bio of HERSELF cause they were on at the same time. Well, she DID already KNOW what they were going to show since it was all about HER anyway. LOL Congrats TS for FABULOUS ACHIEVEMENTS this year.

And she may not be the best artist in the world of all time, but she's the best at connecting with her audience. People would KILL for this quality... Whether they are artists, corporations, sales managers, market analysts...

She writes songs for 12 year olds; he writes songs for adults and has done so for over forty years.He can carry a tune, well. @dwright230 Dude. Taylor Swift doesn't write songs just for 12 years. A lot of her fans are different ages. I'm 23 and I think Taylor is amazing. But it's not her songwriting, guitar or vocal skills that mesmerize me. It's her energy and love for her fans. She's genuinely an emphatic person and I think that's the best quality any human being can have.
She writes of things EVERY girl goes through and she does so in an honest and raw manner, and wraps it up in a fun show. What's not to love?
