Okay, I think I know how he did Woodman's stage.

From what I've seen in the making of MegaMan fangames, instead of linearly, the levels are laid out in a grid to save space on the NES cart, I'm guessing. So when he used the items 1 and 2 to glitch through the ceilings, he jumped and was transported a ways up, in terms of technicalities, and VERY far ahead in terms of if you'd played the game normally.

Okay, it was all making sense up until Woodman's stage, how did you skip all that shit in the beginning? And how did you get the Metal Blades to spin in place?
