Icant curl my hair it takes to long and doesnt stay. Also i can only flat iron the sides of my hair and the back is the worset part of my hair. Oh when you get this done if ur sweating or its raining does ur fait get poofy cuz that happenss with my flat iron.1 last thing when my friend got hers done and after she comes out of the shower it doesnt come out flat and she has to brush it for it to come out flat. I dont know if its because her mom did it for her and they got it from WalMart

@veriye91 It depends a lot on healthiness of your hair and your hair stylist's devotion. If your hair is not healthy, then it is more likely for it not to work well. I got done magic perm (Korean version of JS) 6 times so far, and my natural hair is very frizzy and coarse. It worked very well whenever my hair was healthy. Also, flat ironing someone's hair for hours and hours can be very tiresome. If your stylist is having busy day then good luck s/he may not be able to do her/his best job.

The way the lady explained it to me, the first 3-5 days after the treatment, it was still setting, like wet cement. lol But she also only spoke Korean and we had a hard time communicating lol. She used " innosys I straight " with AMAZING results. But I too kept wondering if I put it in a lose braid, or something, if it would set more natural looking.

@jasmineskyy sweety please don't get a relaxer. I think biracial hair is the best. you can wear it curly or flat iron it to make it straight. Relaxers and other hair straightening chemicals will damage your hair and scalp. You should find natural hair journey videos, a lot of women are trying to give up relaxers because they make your hair weak sooner or later.
ii had this done the other day at an asian salon they werent japanese .. think they were from pakistan but they did an amazingg job my hair is so smooth and straightt and it only cost me £100 which i think is really cheap compared to some other prices... :)

i have wavy-straight hair. and its like, layered and medium length. i am think about getting my hair japanese straightened, but i want it to grow out. in the mean time, i will just use pantene shampoo and conditioner, chi silk infusion, and a solia flat iron. before, my chi silk and solia, my hair was fried. lol i would always put it on a high setting even though i had fine hair. i didnt know anything. i was only 13. hahaha but im 14 and i got my solia like, 1 month ago and it works wonders! :)

no. if your hair is damaged, you need to get a deep conditioner (honestly, find a salon that sells joico's kpak deep penetrating reconstructor and buy that, it saves hair, i swear) and condition the hair once a week with that. after getting the damaged hair trimmed off, (might take a while depending on how damaged the hair is and whether the damaged hair is all the way to the scalp) you can consider getting it straightened. its worth the wait... would you rather have no hair because it broke...

yeahh you're right. my hair is super thick and naturally puffy, and i got the yuko system done to my hair. it's been like almost 8 years now that i've been doing it and curling isn't bad for me. but i live in hawaii and my hair stays a lot straighter with the system in the mainland with less humidity than in hawaii where there's a lot of humidity. so i guess it all depends and what type of system you do.

frizz free. If you have corse hair, and it is humid it is prone to frizziness even if it is straight

My hair takes forever to do in the morning, and since it's so thick, straightening is FOREVER. Even though my hair is short (like... my earrings are to my shoulders and myhair is a little shorter)

It's not like forever permanent though, because I've had it done a few times and it lasted only 9 months. How long is yours supposed to last?

the first time i payed $350 the second time i payed a little over $200, the price can vary depending on the length of your hair. my hair came down below my shoulders both times. It instantly damaged the ends of my hair and you may need to get trims often, but otherwise the damage was minimal.

i just got a japanese straightening. and i waited 3 days to shower my hair and the rest of my hair was straight but my bangs were curly -_- so i straightened it. i recommend getting japanese straightening just fine a good salon to do it. haha

hey, my sister wants to get japaneese straightening but shes only 10 years old but shes gonna turn 11 next month. She wants her birthday present to be the japaneese straightening for her hair but shes scared because what if she goes to the salon and they say she's to young to have one..... and plus her hair is kinda damaged because she straightens her hair a lot... soo should she get it or not please rite bak..

IDK if I'd do it... as much as I hate my wavy, wild hair... I'd rather sweat it out with my chi and just keep straightening myself lol. Ur very pretty, but I could do without the baby talk!

no. if your hair is damaged, you need to get a deep conditioner (honestly, find a salon that sells joico's kpak deep penetrating reconstructor and buy that, it saves hair, i swear) and condition the hair once a week with that. after getting the damaged hair trimmed off, (might take a while depending on how damaged the hair is and whether the damaged hair is all the way to the scalp) you can consider getting it straightened. its worth the wait... would you rather have no hair because it broke...

yeahh you're right. my hair is super thick and naturally puffy, and i got the yuko system done to my hair. it's been like almost 8 years now that i've been doing it and curling isn't bad for me. but i live in hawaii and my hair stays a lot straighter with the system in the mainland with less humidity than in hawaii where there's a lot of humidity. so i guess it all depends and what type of system you do.
