I think the term "bully" has gained enough renown to the extent that it can and should be considered a different breed. Just because that fat dog won a weight pulling competition does NOT mean he should be allowed to snatch on a leash like that. It's pretty clear you are annoyed by it and therefore need to train him. I love APBT (not these bully dogs) and they are very powerful but you're the boss and you seem to have let your dog forget that. Looking at the way he's pulling and your ability to easily snatch him back, it makes me doubt that this dog won a weight pulling contest anyway.

so me the facts that the dogs are not full blooded apbt? because i really want to see the facts. alot of these blogs and websites on the internet say they think theyre mix with mastiffs or bull dogs to get them that big.. they THINK? they have no solid evidence on that and plus someone to say something like that probably dont know anything about the breed. they been breeding these dogs for size since the 80's. the 80's bullys werent that big back then 90's the dogs were 70-80 lbs now in the 130s

Bull Terriers (name) was registered in the 1800's for a more defined elegant strain of white dogs i.e. Bull Terrier. The APBT comes from imported dogs from the English, Scottish and Irish immagrants. NOW tell me why they are called "Terriers" when they were cross breed to be larger?

my apbt are redboy jeep and chinaman, and i'm pretty sure if you have an apbt mine will tear yours to shreds. pitbulls have a big dog breed in them. you can do selective breeding to bring those big traits out of the dog. just get 2 dominant traits and breed them together Xx+Xx= XXxx then do it again XXxx+XXxx until you get XXXX for lrg pits nd the xxxx you get rid of becuase theyre too small. I own apbt and the bully style apbt? pitbulls were thought to be bred by crossing the old english terrier with the american bull dogs long ago when bull baiting became illegal. if there still bulldog blood in the dog, you can neutralize the terrier traits and make bulldog traits stand out. american bulldogs are huge dogs by the way. that's why some bully look like bulldogs.

the classic American Pit Bull Terrier not a good example the classic real "apbt" back in the 1800's these dogs were never over 70lbs they were bred small and athletic they weighed 30lbs-60lbs sometimes they weigh less than 30lbs i think the heaviest could be to 70lbs but no more than that but a very nice American bully i'm sure he has some pit bull in him but he is defo mixed with other heavy bully breeds

I mean it is what it is these dogs are registered if you want to challenge someone blood dna test it. you dont have to insult the bread..These are called xxl bullies They also have pocket pits...what you gonna say they too small....lol...Back yard breeders gives everyone a bad name....I have a xxl bully in great shape can run with whoever all day....you guys should look up old bloodlines like greyline and ruffin even the dagger bloods.....
