Beautiful guitar! I often browse the various video demonstrations given by Andy since I always learn something new and I'm moved to get off my keester and get back to the woodshed. Andy's playing is truly inspirational for me. The only drawback is that I'm drawn to Fender's Masterbuilt instruments; I know that they cost, but, hey, this is true of all fine things in life. ProGuitarShop has someone special in Andy. Couldn't find a better marketing tool.

I like Custom Shop & Masterbuilt strats.

When Fender say 'handmade', they mean 'hand assembled'. I own a Flamenco guitar which was handmade, by one man, who mainly used hand tools to make it. Fender use CNC routers, CNC drills and pretty much everything else is the same as their Standard Strats. If anyone considers attaching a neck to a body with four screws anda bit of basic guitar tech stuff etc to be 'handmade', i'd say that they are confusing the true definition with marketing hype.

just a small thing, you finger pick like crazy =) but.. dont your nails go all retarded ? i tried to nail-strum like you without a pick but ended up changing to a plectrum becuz my nails were getting really messed up and kept snapping while i play =S

@jscott2250 I'm not at all convinced. The guy still had to but a expensive guitar processor to get a quality sound. It's just easier to buy a metal guitar like a Jackson or ESP of some sort and not screw around with the fancy processors.

Sure there's something magical about a road worn guitar, but the relics aren't that, they're fakey fakes. My jeans have holes in them, but they didn't when I bought them, I wore them till they got "rocked". Maybe that's just me, whatevs

I think it's impressive that you can retain your speed while finger-picking.

The only thing I dislike about your playing is that there's more of a brush sound when you hit the strings rather than regular pick attack. I feel like I'm missing out on the characteristic bright sound of a pick. I think I even went in the opposite direction; I use homemade titanium and stainless-steel picks. xD
