I love civ but i prefer this one over my current PC version. The gameplay was too slow for me in that one and i'm always tempted to use the build your own unit thing in the top left. I only went once without using it and i won. but it took forever. this is much faster.

Noticed the missile hit the ground. Just an interesting sidenote: in actuality, ICBMs are typically programmed to detonate their nukes just before landing, up in the air above the city. You get more widespread destruction that way.

I like the nuking on this compared to Civ IV but i know me and other Civ fans know that Revolution was a BETA to Civ V, one thing to tell is that this is a BETA is that there are only half of the amount of civs in Rev compared to IV and much quicker, also seems so dumbed down compared to Civ IV, I was able to do highest difficulty on this on the second try, on Civ IV i can only still do decent with Prince diffulty, so all i am saying is that this is a BETA and should be treated like one

well, i look at the other civs and this does look bad in comparison. but im a console gamer and i had a few extra points to spend on a down loadable game; so i downloaded civ rev and loved it, which is the main reason why im probably going to buy civ 5 for the PC of course.

so in comparison, yes, it sucks. but its a good starter for newcomers if the circumstances allow you to get it. but i probably wouldnt go out of my way JUST for this game. get it at a discount like me.

I actually prefer to play this watered down version because it is more comfortable to do so. however civ 5 is prob the best tbs there is. decisions decisions.

Do you not realize that this game game was designed specifically for Home game consoles. Obviously there is more to do in Civ 4 because it was designed that way. Also, Because a computer has a lot more memory and internal processing power than a game system so more things can be incorporated into a game on the computer. CivRev is designed to be fast and efficient, focusing on strategy to win, and not little shit like pollution or corruption.

Civ Rev is a console game. So it's made so you can actually sit at a console and play it as opposed to spending hours and hours at a PC. It's a different kind of experience, and it retains the -feel- of Civ. Both styles are good.
