  • Terriffic Bond Film. If it was'nt for the underwater stuff being so overly long and drawn out, this movie might be better than GoldFinger. Great trailer, thanx for posting.

  • Black and white ?

  • @ThibaultTheodore are u colour blind ?

  • @conrod15review Well, there are not many colors ! Looks like 4 bit !

  • I like goldeneye the best but moonraker was great too. out of the old ones. the new ones are a bit ehh.

    they try too hard

  • Everything is okay about this movie except for the bad story/script!

The underwater sequences are a joy for the eye!

But it's too much focused on the underwater scenes.

Terrence Young back as director was not the best choice cause he couldn't

capture the fun that Guy Hamilton could on Goldfinger.

    7/10

  • i got all 21 bond ladies in my bed!

  • "James Bond, the hallmark of today's greatest entertainment." so true

  • Great scenery with sweeping curves and mountainous areas. The Bahamas look good too.

  • Sean Connery what a stud

  • This was the best Bond movie of all time.Screw newer more sophistacated special effects. What good are they?If all you see in a movie is special effects ,then why don't you take out your camcorder next 4th of July and record the fireworks and sit home and watch that all day for a year instead. What makes a great movie is the plot, story, acting, action, and of course, background music which this one has always had the best.

  • I think the ravishing rehead taking bonds top off is one of his most vulnerable scenes...007...is actually blushing..

  • Thunderball is an excellent film, why the hell did Connery do the cheap shit remake Never say never again? The whole point of a remake is to make a better version of a film, not a worse one. If it aint broke don't fix it.

  • This was great and then they had to bring in the kilt wearer, pansy boy and the plumber.

  • ممثل رائع

  • Adjusted for inflation, this IS the most thrilling bond movie, making $955 million.

    Unadjusted it's about 120 mil.

  • I liked this one but i think Pierce would've really thrived in this one I can just picture him!

  • definitely my best james bond movie from all 22 films

  • The first 6 Bond films were the best-i know its a cliche-but the old ones are the best-no question. You dont see 007 films like this anymore.!!

  • My favorite of all the Sean Connery Bond Films

  • thunderball has the best underwater battle sequence ever to be filmed!

  • @atomichead777 Yes, but FRWL had the best train-fight sequence.

  • @timberwolf84

    true that

  • my first movie downtown ft smith ark

  • my granduncle worked on this movie! he was the wardrobe master!

  • need to see this movie again b4 the decade is up, i didnt see this since i was a little boy

  • ahaa yea thats sean conery the best 007.

now i want to watch this movie

  • Мне этот фильм меньше всех нравица

  • Thunderball is one of my favorite Bond movies and maybe the best Bond movie in the 60's. Sean Connery was gorgeous. Claudine Auger is still one of the best Bond girls. Luciana Paluzzi was the 1st really bad/evil female character but very beautiful at the same time.

I also love the soundtrack from Tom Jones - great song!

  • Awesome Bond film- when Bond was a real man!

That scene when the Italian actress is in bed with Francois (The NATO Pilot)- Wow- that's one smoking hot woman... Not sure who decided on that outfit she was wearing but... whew... Is it me or is it hot in here? Best line ever in a Bond flick? "Could it be the front door bell" I love him!

  • Connery's best Bond movie, no argument!

  • I agree! I love this Bond film

  • @amarsbarr: thank u!

  • Your welcome :)

  • @ElectricBlueOil What about From Russia With Love?

  • Comment removed

  • Sean's Best-Thunderball

    Sean's 2nd Best-From Russia w/ Love

    Sean's 3rd Best-Goldfinger

    Sean's 4th Best-You Only Live Twice

    Sean's 2nd Worst-Dr. No

    Sean's Worst-Diamonds R Forever

(The latter two films weren't exactly bad, but not exactly excellent either).

  • Ditto!!

  • Glad to see someone has replied to my comment 8-)

  • I totaly agree.

  • This was Sean's best Bond Movie, IMHO.

  • Hey, watch "On Her Majesty's Secret Service Full Theatrical Trailer", "Agent R Entertainment: FYEO trailer", "Agent R Entertainment: TLD trailer", and "Casino Royale trailer." (Cut and paste the first 23 words of this paragraph to the other commentators, okay)

  • the bad guys plan in this one actually seems plausible this was a great bond movie

  • best bond movie!!!!!!!

    and best bond girl!!!

  • License to kill and License to Thrill....awsome! Shark pool ... that is fantastic!

  • Vintage Bond-classic films never to be equalled-John Barrys music was pure genius-unlike the rubbish on Quantum of Solace-and i am a great Bond fan!

  • i think the new bond movies, the one with daniel craig, are ok as movies, but i don't look at them like bond-movies. they are so unlike the bond-movies before them.the older ones with sean connery to roger moore are the best of them all

  • it's all about the classics

  • Never Say Never Again was a remake (and a pathetic one at that) of Thunderball. Never Say Never Again was primarily made to compete with the "official" EON Bond film Octopussy, which also came out in the summer of 1983.

  • This film had a great underwater fight scene but Never Say Never Again sucked. So sad.

  • The best of Bond

  • i got all 21 bond movies on DVD

  • Me too. And the 2nd "Casino Royale" from 1966 and "Never Say Never Again" from 1983

  • @TuXHunt3R whoopididoooo

  • @TuXHunt3R same and all the novels :)

  • me too

  • @GeneralLing88 No way!

  • i got the dvd a week ago, two different commentaries---but no trailer...! during the parade scene, a stray dog is shown p-ing; something i never noticed before. editor had cut it out---but producer had him put it back for final edit!

  • I heard that the time this trailer was out in 1965, people in New York qued at the theaters to just watch this trailer.

  • OK, I didn't know this...

  • Its true. If you have the Special Edition DVD of this film, it should contain in the special features a documentury called the Thunderball phenomenon. If you watch that you'll know it's true.
