It's nothing to do with copy, if you have been to Hong Kong, you will realise how much HK locals love everything Japanese. Japanese food and products are extremely popular in Hong Kong, that is the reason why you see so many places and street stalls selling Japanese food, because the demand for it is massive. We are fans of the Japanese more than any others! Chinese food is widely available in Japan, it does not mean that the Japanese copy us.
dont ever eat from a street vendor, you will get food poisoning and die a horrible death, many people die everyday from street food, its just not popular on the news.
people from hong kong have the 2nd longest life span what do you guys eat just out of curiousity this kinda food does not seem very healthy what about teryaki chicken rice yaki soba noodles shrimp with the shells
I went to mong kok and the ladies markets are great! They have lots of anime and manga there! Lol Yu dan, but I hated the smell of "Tou tofu" XD god I miss it there!
Hong Kong used to have more street food when I was young. Now they are more modernized, and the municipal governments wants to keep the streets clean now. When I was small, I ate street foods everywhere, fish ball, intestines of the cow, or pigs, or steamed rice rolls ("cheung fan"). They were so delicious. I think if I go to Macau now, they may have more street foods. I am living in Canada now, I don't know.
Yes, they are awesome. I remember when I was small in HK, I LOVE spicy curry fish balls.豬 皮, 牛雜, 豬腸粉, 碗仔翅 they are also taste great with hot sauce. I missed those street foods a lot.
How old are you now? These street things tastes worse and worse day by day because of massive amount of immigrants from mainland China now taking over these street booths and cheat people by selling shit.
Hong Kong's culinary forte is its restaurants and fine dining. Street eats are never very exciting here in Hong Kong. Not in the same league as Taiwan when it comes to hawker food. But still yummy enough.

The crosswalk sound in HK makes me anxious. It's like machinegun fire- but that's probably the motivation they sought...
