  • the Japanese and Chinese calligraphers would appreciate this immediately.

  • beautiful. Though it's difficult to understand this art without being able to read the arabian alphabet. I can't read it, still, I think what you do is beautiful.

  • The calligraphy is beautiful. MashAllah. May I ask who is reciting the Quran please?

  • @noshie06 peace be upon you

the reciter is Mashari Al Afasy

  • Thanks for the video. Can you tell me, do the tiny symbols inbetween the larger letters each have a meaning or are they just ornaments?

  • These tiny symbols are called "harakat" these are the vowel markers in the Arabic language.some of these are :

1.small sloping line above the letter gives an "a" sound.

    2. small sloping line below the letter gives an "i" sound.

3.coma like symbol above the letter gives an "u" sound.

    4. a "w" like symbol above the letter indicates a stressed letter. and many other signs.

  • Thank you very much!

  • very spiritual!

  • indeed i wish more people understood this art

  • Thank you!
