Wow! Thanks so much for putting together this great series of videos. Well done! It's nice that people with talent of their own recognize Justin's talent and share these things with us untalented schloobs!
I've edited and uploaded a NEW longer version of PART 3, with slow acoustic versions of Always The Last To Know and part of This Side Of The Morning. Plus hear Justin's view on pole vaulting and the 2012 London Olympics. It won't let me post the Link here but you can find it by typing Justin Currie: So Many Souls To Steal (Part 3 NEW). Enjoy!
his voice certainly hasn't lost anything in all these years - nice slowed down version of "jimmy" - never loved this song, but this approach might be the best i've heard - suits the lyrics very well.
if justin had ever made a run as a singer/songwriter on his own earlier on, he'd have been huge. he was the core talent of the dels and his brilliance got lost in their desire to be a rock/pop band.
Every time I see a comment about Justin it usually includes something to the effect why is he not more universally acclaimed etc. Some are very critical of his label and since the Del days his exposure has been consistent but sometimes a little strange to say the least.
This series by saje84 has been incredible ,the juxtaposition of the earlier with the recent and the revealing interviews was riveting. Needless to say I am a fan and see him like James Taylor ,and other singer songwriters.
just love the man and his music.

The more I see and hear of Justin Currie the more I like him,and the interview confirms what I had concluded from previous cd and tv.
This 4 part study is an excellent way to interpret the bridge from Del to the present and a glimpse of Justin's view of things!
