  • Nice! Spring is just so...heady at the moment! :D Ooooh, poison ivy. And, arrggghhh...tent caterpillars. Beautiful flowers throughout - I could actually smell some of them. That line of tan buildings. What's their story? Some looked a bit worse for wear, or is that my imagination?

  • @WhiteTiger333 The far end of Sandy hook holds the decomissioned Fort Hancock and these are the old officers quarters. It is now open to the public. The nature is fabulous there and you can be up close and personal on the trail.

  • Hey Sharon, This was great...I haven't been to Sandy Hook in ages. Looks like a great day was had by all !!!

  • @SpringtimeSkies129 this trail is great for biking Ginny. Its about 7 miles from end to end, but we did a total of about 7 in about 2 hours. It is just fascinating there especially at the Fort Hancock end which has a lot of abandoned sites, some going down fast and some being restored.

  • @Sharon1944 There is some great bird watching there too at all times of the year.

  • Wow looks like a great place.I like I was just in the country side, thanks for the trip!

  • @Texasred63 a sweet oasis in a very urban area.
