  • You mentioned Honey hemp. I haven't heard of that one. Where did you purchase it?

  • @NairskiG33 Yes.. it's a conditioner by Oyin Handmade. Check out their products online. Thanks for watching my vid :)

  • but it does work

  • this product was flacky and falling all my face and neck

  • @TheSOULSISTER75 Yeah this isn't one of my favorite product lines. I may consider trying some of their products again since it's been over a year. We'll see :)

  • I didn't really care for curls or kinky curly. Both dried my hair out. I don't like to waste money so I have to finish what I have bought.

Yesterday, I bought some Shea Moisture product but forgot to pick up the conditioner. Can't wait for the weekend to come to try them. Great review :)

  • @shortandstuff I absolutely LOVE shea moisture! I have been using that for a while now. I also have a video review up on that from about a year ago. I love the products and the price :)

  • hi i did a two strand twist on my daughters hair w/ the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, looked great, after a few days, once drying started, i smoothed over every twist w/ the curls, goddess curls, in the pump, it has a serum type consistency, and her twist became curly twist, really nice. but it seems only that goddess curl and water bottle and set the curl (or pull the curl out and set the pattern) w/ an oil. I DO DIG THE CONITIONERS THAT MAY BE LEFT IN! TY GIRL FOR UR INFO<3

  • @TheLoveLightLa Ok I'll have to try using it another way because I hate wasting money :( Thanks for your comment!

  • hey vagirl 75, ur video was very helpful, i actually was gonna buy the product and i saw that it had a type of sulfate in it...so i decided not to pirchase but thx for ur video..

  • @NaturallyKhenti11 I'm glad it helped you. But just so you know, it might actually work for you but my hair just didn't like it :( Do you have a similiar hair texture?

  • Thank you for helping me save my money, ma'am..

  • @redeemed2bfree I'm not sure what hair type you have but it just didnt do much for my texture... some people seem to love these products. Thanks for watching :)

  • your hair looked better with the shea moisture

  • @shearer1405 yes... it moisturized my hair much much better. Thanks for watching!

  • I purchased the curl creme brule and the godess curl gel from the Curls line @ Target too. I didn't like either :-( I think have a mixture of hair 4a,b, and c..... The creme brule didn't define my curls or anything and the godess curl gel required me to use half the bottle to get my curls to pop. It also took about 24 hours for it to dry :-( After it dried it was stiff and sticky. I will not be buying those again.

  • @MsNada01 That sounds about like my experience with the products.. everything defiitely isn't for everybody! LOL Thanks for your sharing your experience :)

  • Va, 757 in the house! I saw this product line in Target but need to see reviews on it. I don't need Shampoos that much but I am looking for moisture. When I had a curl back n da day, my hair grew very well. I think it was because of the moisture. I have'nt pressed my hair and I dont want to until I can get it at a good length. Thanks for the review. Enjoying your video's !

  • @rebarenee7 Yup 757 :) The next time you're in Target, check out the Shea Moisture line if you're looking for moisture... it's great! Girl, I so agree with you... bcuz when I had a curl back in the day, my hair grew SOOOO fast and I never had problem with breakage or dryness. So the key is to keep our hair moisturized. Thank u so much for subbing to my channel!

  • Great tutorial!! I have 4c hair and I didnt like the Curls Creme Brulee :( Loved the smell but it did nothing for me. No longer purchasing any of that line. Thanks for the tutoral... New subbe : )

  • @MoNaturalButterfly It didnt do much for me either... everything definitely isn't for everybody! It's so hard finding products that work for our hair type. Thanks so much for subbing! :-)

  • HHAAHAAAA Girl "4c-d-e hair??' I subbed off that lol :D great vid

  • @MissGlamourGirl1992 LOL!! Thanks for subbing... I just returned the favor... I hope u enjoy :)

  • @VaGirl75 Aww thanks :D

  • The ingredients are completely different. I was pissed and I asked the owner on their FACEBOOK page about not placing the originals in the store in smaller sizes vs. creating an alternate line with the intention to make it more affordable. She give me a BS answer. When you cheapen the products you cheapen the ingredients. They all sucked so I swapped them at a meet-up.ONE LOVE

  • @BlkCoffi i was in target yesterday and i didn't even pick up any of these products. when side by side with the shea moisture products, its such an easy choice for me. i considered the miss jessie's products but the ingredients looked horrible and the price..... no comment! LOL

  • @VaGirl75 I dont blame you, I love the Shea Moisture Shea Butter Shampoo, its in my staples video. and I dont blame you for the price, but the overall Miss Jessies product isnt too bad. You only live once and no harm in trying. LOL. ONE LOVE

  • Ooo-wee!!! I'm glad I didn't buy this yesterday and I was so close to doing so. I ended up buying the Shea Moisture smoothie. Is the honey hemp good for detangling?

  • @LuminouzFlame Yes I use the honey hemp for detangling and sometimes I add olive oil to it if my hair is full of tangles from a previous style or something. The Shea Moisture Smoothie was a good choice... U will love it! I use that for my twist outs now. I did a review on those products too. Thanks for watching :-)

  • Thanks for the review. I just purchased these products tonight @ Target. My texture is similar to yours, and I had my doubts that it would work when I bought it. Im taking it back tomorrow..lol.. I have wasted sooo much money already trying to find a good product to define my curls.

  • @mrsnewlynappy1 Maybe you should try the Shea Moisture products... they are also at Target. I use their products all the time!! To define my curls, I use Kinky Curly products bcuz I don't really have a well defined curl pattern. Let me know what you find that works for you. Thanks for watching :-)

  • Good job. When I saw this in Target I wondered it the formula was altered to make it reasonably priced. If you happen to do an ingredient check, let us know.

  • @brandywine79tv Ok... I will try to put an update up soon. Thanks for watching :-)

  • where did you get that cute black jacket?

  • @iamsillywarm I got it from New York & Company a couple of years ago

  • Good review and curls for target did not work for me either our hair texture is similar. SheaMoisture is it for me for an over the counter natural hair product.

  • @Naturalinmi4ties Yes... I'm glad I found something that works for me that I don't have to always order online :-)

  • Look at you girl....just pushing those tuts out aintcha.....lol.....miss you VaGirl!

  • @husbandand2girls Heyyyyy!!! Miss you too! When are we hanging out again? We gotta go shopping and grab something to eat. Let me know. Oh.. sending you a msg on fb...

  • Thanks for the review. I have been wondering about the line, but have not purchased it yet. I surely wont be getting it from Target. I am in the process of creating my own line, and I will be targeting women with extra thick coily hair. I will be starting off with moisture, then working my way to the curls. We need something that targets our 4 hair type. It's well overdue!

  • @mignondee If your hair type is like mine, save your money girl!! LOL How are you coming along with your products? One thing that I have noticed about type 4 hair, it seems to be harder to retain moisture.... so that's definitely what I look for in my products. Keep us posted on your product line. Thanks for watching :-)

  • I am very honest on my reviews and it may help you weed out products that may not work for your hair type.

    Great review!

  • @Niafloda I'm already subbed to you :-)

  • Hmmm.. Thanks for the review and feedback on the sheamoisture shampoo. I like the sheamoisture curl smoothie and the restorative mask. They are both very moisturizing. I haven't bought the shampoo though. I am 4b 4c and I didn't like the curls line at all for my hair. Qhemet Biologics is a pretty good brand which I love for the softness. I love the alma and olive heavy creme and they are not available locally. Check out my channel as well for other reviews.

  • @Niafloda I like the shea moisure products so far bcuz they seem to work for my hair... I've never tried the Qhemet Biologics products... maybe I will check that out soon.. thanks for your comment :-)
