@kfriedmane hi. im a high school student and we have a class reporting, they gave us our topic to be reported and i wanted something that will make my listener listen to me and i want them to respond in every questions or thingy that i will give to them. how can i do that?
You should not read your speech. You may certainly use notes and refer to them but you should practice many times and know your material so you can internalize it, not read word for word or memorize
When you do a presentation to an audience or individual, is it ok to use a cheat sheet like what some speaker do? Write their own speech and read it before the audience..? Thank you. You're helpful.
miss, how am i going to start when i have other 3 members in my group? i should with good morning ..... (then) before i'm presenting my topic today, i am going to introduce my members... is it okay?
@fdkpb04 You can say good morning and introduce yourself but then go right to a story or example that drives home the message you want to leave them with. Try beginning with a story or example that drives home that message, that makes your point. Then you can tell them a little more about yourself, why you are there and how you hope to help them. Remember, it's always about them.
Tammy: It's okay to say good morning, you should say good morning, but instead of saying I'm here to talk about..., start talking about it directly. Use a vignette, example, or quick story that illustrates your message and frames what you are there to talk about.
Powerful, but the women sound like a bitch, I a good sense.

Great video! Karen does a very good job of laying out the 3 questions that we should ask ourselves before we start to create any slides...
