I am 24 years old and adopted 3 days after birth. It is not my parents who are lucky, it is me. Anyone could have picked me, but they got to me first...and thank god that they did.

This is a song that I listen to every year because on January 31st I celelbrate my adoption day with family and it means so much to me because being in America has really led me to be who I am and my parents are the greatest gift in the entire world!

Great video and song. We will be adopting our daughter this July 2nd. She has been our foster daughter for almost 4 years now and will finally be our forever daughter. She made a comment to me about a month ago-Mama, "You make my heart happy". But the fact is-she make our heart happy. Best of luck to all the children out there that need a family to love them.
