This is from Christmas Day 1981, but ITV seemed to be putting on the programmes that are more suited to Boxing Day or Christmas Eve rather than Boxing Day.
I pretty much come from a BBC TV up bringing and [even to this day] dont think ITV deliver as good as BBC. It seems that these days [and even then ] ITV just dont try with the Xmass schedualing. But I guss its down to taste but I have to say if ITV went off air today it really wouldent effect my TV viewing.
The problem ITV has over Christmas is that from about 4pm on Christmas Eve, no one wants to advertise (apart from the Sales and holidays).
With less ad spend around, there's no point in them putting on big movies or anything. Though I seem to recall them putting a bit of effort in last year, with Harry Potter.
