  • Well done for getting this out on YouTube. Please God, let this be the beginning of bringing this cruelty & greed to the attention of the world, so that it will force a change in the laws & something can finally be done about it! I hope this gentleman gets out of that place, bless him! x

  • if I reach the point of being placed in a nursing home.I will put a gun to my head and pull the trigger.Guaranteed

  • The court is corrupt!! God Bless you....Where are the lawyers to protect these people?

They took away my 'Power of Attorney' on my Mother. it was Kindred hospital..stay away from there.

  • @baysideful unfortunately we have discovered that some attorneys are a big part of the problem as well....they are in connection WITH the Court and the Adult "protection" Services.....so they, too are corrupt. I have seen this very thing happen to my friend Evelyn Schwartz (there are many videos about Evelyn here as well as on You Tube under Oh Widow) and I am so sorry to see that it is not an isolated incident...it has happened to your dear mother too....what a painful time for you all....

  • How sad

  • 5/5 !!!

  • CT. PROBATE INJUSTICE AGAIN

Waterbury Probate Court apptd. conservator, Atty.kathleen donovan, seekS approval of accounting of $45,000+-, she claims she earned for the UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT of DAN GROSS

Is there no end to this madness!

SUPERIOR CT.FREED MR. GROSS from this nightmare of unlawful incarceration and still she resurfaces to hurt his estate--bad enough she hurt him in life-now in death too!

Like Dad said, "IT'S ABOUT THE MONEY!!!"

    PURE GREED AND ARROGANCE!!!

  • Bring back justice and stop these "Kangaroo Court" proceedings that award these purveyors of human flesh from robbing your retirement to pay themselves--

  • Anyone in New York can look up the law of guardianship for the elderly in the "Mental Hygiene Law Article 81". Within that law there is a section on the "powers of a guardian" which every person should read. After reading it, you will realize that everything you imagined about your civil rights or due process was a figment of someone's imagination. Remember, forewarned is forearmed. Join the fight to stop forced guardianships and conservatorships before it happens to you!!!!

  • Deepest sympathies to the Gross family. The face and voice of an innocent man incarcerated in a nursing home against his will under an illegal fraudulent guardianship approved by the court.

Prisoners, convicted felons retain more rights and freedom than Mr. Gross a ward of the state.

Who will be next: You? Me?

Unless we unite, shout out loud for all those poor souls who have been unjustly silenced we will be in Mr. Grosss situation no voice only a video to record our final days.

  • It could happen to you ...One day, you are a free person, enjoying your golden years your own way. Then, a judge rules you incapacitated

and you are shackled to a corrupt guardian who has total control over your liberty, your property, and your life. Your family is

helpless to stop them. National Association to Stop Guardian Abuse was formed by victims and for victims to put an end to this insidious practice.

  • Is this our future???

  • How many times does this have to happen before something is done!

  • Death row inmates have more rights than do conserved individuals! Guardianship destroys lives and it destroys families. All the while, the attorneys and agencies involved are busy looting the estate. When this man is penniless, they will dump him and move on.

This video demonstrates clearly that this gentleman is not incapacitated. He should not be conserved. He should be at home with his family.

My family have also been victimized!

    Go NASGA!

  • Mr. Gross's use of the word 'egregiously' demonstrates just how coherent he was. I agree, "IT STINKS!"

  • This abuse has to stop!!! The courts and guardianship/conservatorship system are the real abusers!!!!!!!!!! Our elderly need the love, and freedom to live their lives with out abuse, from the courts!!!!!!!!!!

    Kim

  • Dan Gross is right! It stinks!!!

Can you imagine being a prisoner and paying for it?

  • This video says it all in the words of the person who was victimized by a faulty court

system and others engaged for what I believe was pure greed.

Thank you annie mc kenna for airing this on you tube.

  • I feel your pain Dee. My mother is in the clutches of the Kings County guardianship Court where my sisters violated my mother's constitutional right to be let alone and brought a guardian petition against her. Now they are trying to evict me from the home where I lived with and took care of my mother for the last 25 year and as your Dad said, "it's all about the money".

  • BABY BOOMER'S BEWARE- I am the daughter of this highly intelligent, competent, and knowledgable man. He always told me this was

about money but I was naive--so late.

My father never wanted this happen to another person-so I beg anyone reading to write your legislators, stop this abuse

There must be a change--no guidelines for guardians that run rampant with you watching

helplessly while everything is stripped from loved ones while they are coerced to take drugs, isolated and helpless.

  • From the article:

"His lawsuit says Daniel Gross, an eighty-six-year-old resident of New York, went to a Connecticut hospital for treatment of leg problems and ended up, as a result of a conservator's appointment, on a locked ward of a nursing home where he unnecessarily remained for almost ten months. During that time, Gross charges that his assets were dissipated, visitation with his family restricted, and that he suffered abuse from his nursing home roommate.

  • Dan Gross and his family are to be commended for standing up against conservatorship abuse in Connecticut.

    Thank you for the video!

  • Dan Gross tells it like it is: "It's all about money."

They locked him up like he was a prisoner. His only "crime" was being vulnerable and subject to the CT provate court.

Thank you for this important video.

  • Thank you scuds2 It was a nightmare beyond the imagination of any sane individual

What my dad suffered is what I liken to Nazi

Germany--hurting the defenseless--you wouldn't beleive this could happen in America

Brave individuals are standing up to this, but

more people have to care--this could happen to anyone, and does, but most citizens are

    just not informed

    Thanks for caring Dee King

  • THANK YOU for sharing this video- Dan Gross's case is a BIG reason the probate laws in Connecticut were changed- Let's hope the good ol' boys club of judges and lawyers follow the new law! People under guardianships and conservatorships are treated worse than any criminal. The probate courts are just kangaroo courts and the judges are really elected politicians, hiding their misdeeds under the cloak of judicial immunity. Beware- this can happen to just about anyone!!!
