If I could suggest one other place I went as a child that I believe your Family would enjoy, it's Bend, Oregon. Sunriver to be exact. It's located in Central Oregon, check it out. Stunning and shares many of the attributes that we love Sedona for.. Anyway, best to you and yours and thanks again for the nice video share, cheers- David
Hi mrgoding, thank you for doing, and uploading this video. I just watched it. The first, and unfortunately only time I've been to Sedona was about 25 years ago when I was just a bit younger than your daughters shown here. As you can see, 25 years later I'm on youtube looking at videos. It had a great impact and I'm glad your Family got to make memories they will never forget in such a beautiful area. I'd love to go back, but it's easy for life to get in the way.
Very, very well done. I live in Scottsdale and you captured the feel of Sedona's beauty as well as the joy of sharing it with those you love. Your music choice and editing are spot on. This only reminds me that I need to get up there more often and never take it for granted. Thanks for posting.
Mrgoding, The next time you're in Arizona, you really should check out a place called Havasupai Falls. It's quite a hike, and you have to have permission from the Havasupai Nation, but it's worth every step of that long hike and more. Trust me on this one!
@yokohamaguy75 Just to let you know..... I live in Arizona! And I have backpacked Havasupai when I was about 14 years old... It was one of the most beautiful hikes I have been on.... The area has changed a lot since I was there. There were two major floods, and a lot of the formations were washed away!
A friend and I are planning a road trip first week of April to Sedona then up to the Grand Canyon and on to Monument Valley. Any suggestions? Especially on how to get to the Devil's Bridge Trail. Thanks for the great videos!
That part of the country is quite beautiful... I did some research on places to visit in the Sedona area before we went. We have another video... Sedona 2008 that has some video of some indian ruins in the area. When you head to the Grand Canyon, stop by sunset crater. I am not sure about the Devil's Bridge trail. Check Az. Hikes type in the info. It should give you details on the area. Thanks for watching...
i live in sedona, its one of the greatest places. there are alot of trails tourists don't see next time you come out here hit me up for some dirrections.
