He is deeply moral and will come to the aid of any race that is suffering. The subject of human emotion and war and such come up occasionally, but the image I got was of his time traveling ship (the TARDIS, which looks on the outside like a police phone booth) flying through a wormhole, like in the intro, possible saying thats the "river of time"...check it out.
