  • Love Crossfit! watching these kind of videos gets me so pumped for the next wod, truly one of the best ways to workout. All of these nay sayers (landgabriel) have no idea what this is all about. I really wish these kind of people would first get an up close and personal experience with a kick ass wod to really see what this is. Tell me your legs arent sore after doing Murph or Karen. Crossfit is more than just air squats. How about oly lifting, gymnastics, sprinting? a perfect combo.

  • you've never done crossfit, yet think you know it trains only cardio and endurance? so one can overhead 300lbs doing just cardio and training endurance according to you, amirite?

    the immediate hate and judgement on crossfit is so ridiculous, I wouldnt even begin to judge your muay thai training unless I had done it myself, so why dont u pipe down, visit an affiliate, and check it out or STFU.

  • Short box jumps are one of the dumbest exercises ever. Same with bodyweight squats. They don't train explosiveness and are no different than a brisk jog as far as cardio.

    Tall box jumps and jumping squats are better.

  • @landgabriel clearly you have never gone fast enough or hard enough, but you are right jumping squats are harder

  • @trackerbignose I train in Muay Thai. The kinetic chain and power curve of an exercise like kicking the heavy bag or Thai Pad is way more intense than air squats and box jumps, because the power doesn't go through the movement in the latter. With air squats/box jumps, the movement is deliberately slowed down. It is just cardio and it doesn't train muscles for anything but endurance.

  • @landgabriel since you clearly know better ways to train than crossfitters, you should go to the games. with youre obviously greater skill u should win no problem
