First of all, I thought the Bible tells us NOT to Judge. Correct? Secondly, the BIBLE Never said Homosexuality is an Abomination. Thirdly, a couple of times in the new testament it says a man shall not lie with another man. If you read all of the Bible it also said it was ok to have sex with any child or woman as long as it was not with another man because that was the Hierarchy of that time. In the Sodom story it was OK for Lott to let the strangers have sex with his two daughters! So thats ok?

God does love every man and woman on this planet, but his commandments are there for a reason. Ray Boltz was one of my favorite singers, now he turned his back on the gospel. He has ignored the scripture and went on a different path on which he was sent. It is a choice to go against God's wishes, and this was your choice Ray, I'll pray for you.
I am a firm believer that homosexuality is wrong in Jesus's eyes. However I also have read the Bible and the Bible says to hate the sin but to love the sinner. How do you ever expect to reach them back to Christ when you constantly cast your judgement down on them? You have to offer them support and let the Lord work in their hearts and not have you judging them. God is the final judger not you, God loved everyone despite their sins. If god only loved the perfect ones no one would get his love.

I generally accept the research that shows over +63% of men to be selectively BIsexual. This was even the nature of David & Jonathan in the Scripture (very clear when someone reads the full account of their friendship). The Scripture is much more "liberal" than many people think (Solomon had 700 wives & 300 concubines!) --because the issue is NEVER gender -but the principle that "LOVE WORKS NO ILL". The word, Christian, means to be Christ-like. Christ isn't a liar, or a theif, or a murder or a homosexual. He is holy and calls us to be holy as well. There are many areas in my life that need to be cleaned up and if someone told me this I wouldn't consider them to judging me,I'd consider them to be right. But that's just my humble opnion.
I'm not judging RB, but c'mon, where does he get off comparing race to a lifestyle choice. And what parts of Leviticus 18:22-30, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:24-28, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and 1 Timothy 1:9-10 doesn't he understand. Of did he just rip those verses from his bible? No, Homosexuality is not the only sin, and it's not a Christian's place to condemn another. It is a Christian's mandate by Jesus himself to preach the Gospel; which means telling people the truth about sin! The difference between a Christian and an unbeliever is not that Christians don't sin, it's that even though we sin daily, we call sin what it is, confess it and seek forgiveness that comes through Christ alone! "The Church says "that's not legal" the Preacher calls it sin..." Actually, the bible says that God says homosexual conduct is "detestable" and calls it sin. I would respect Mr. Boltz (and others) if they would at leas acknowledge what the bible says and then if they choose not to follow it, fine. Instead they do what the devil did in the beginning, they call into question God's word "Hath God really said?" So they not only are guilty of disobeying God, they also call him a liar.
@rolysantos actually the bible does not use the word homosexual. Even if is did, a non Christian I could care less. No one is hurt by gays marrying, adopting, buying property or kissing your son or daughter if they happen to be gay.

I could make the case that people do get hurt, emotionally, physically, psychologically and spiritually; and that society gets "hurt." I live as though there is a God and his laws and will are very real. Therefore, God is "hurt" or as the bible says "grieved" when we sin against him. The fact that you either don't believe in God or that you "hurt" him does not change that fact!

While a good 98% of the KJV is correct it is still that 2% that can cause a lot of damage to mankind. But the bible says "if we confess our sins..," Confess means to "say the same thing" or homologeō (Homo = Same, Logeo = Word, "Same Word") God calls it sin and we agree or "say the same." Im gay and out. I would be living a lie if i didnt come out. Jesus did speak of liers not gaining entrance to heaven. I need someone to show me in the 10 comandments or where Jesus spoke in his teachings that homosexuality is wrong, Until then we are all equal, no one is better, no one is worse.

Man was not created to be with man and woman was to created to be with woman. read Genesis if God was ok with it he would have made a same sex couple in the begining.

to all those that want to condem, listen up, God is love, god gave us the love and God told us to love. God never said hate or condem our brother, God is with those who show his gift of love. Something I learned when I was younger, God never makes mistakes, he made everything and everybody the way he wanted each of us to be. The words *homosexual* and *homosexuality* are nowhere to be found in the concordance of my Bible. So the subject must have never been mentioned by God in the O.T. or by Jesus in the N.T.. The book of Mark says something about loving your neighbor and in Romans 14:13 **Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.**
The thing is Ray is right and wrong at the same time. The exapmle of the churches that banned "interracial" marriage was just plain sad. There is one race. Human. Those churches had to twist the scripture to hold that position. (God banned intermarriage to keep His people from marring idol worshipers) Unfortunatley Ray is doing the same thing they did. In order to believe that God is ok with homosexuality, one must twist the bible to approve what it clearly bans.

Instead of insulting this man, we should pray for him. He's struggling against forces which have overcome him. He needs our prayers, not judgement for that is God's place, not ours. My prayers and heart go out to this man and his family. He may feel happy in one way or another, but I'm sure that in some way he still is unhappy. Romans refers to women trading in the use of the vagina for use of their anus (based on pagan religions.) Sodom and Gommorah were trying to rape the angels in order to subject strangers. I saw Ray in concert a couple years before I came out, at a local church. I wish as a struggling young gay christian man, I could have shared with him. I know ray will never see this comment, but I have to say this anyway. I grew up listening to this man, in a very controlling "christian" household. All the people posting on here make me sick. I was told I was going to hell, practically disowned, and cut off from the only family I ever had. The only reason being that I shared my feelings that I had felt since I was 10-11. I am a firm believer that homosexuality is wrong in Jesus's eyes. However I also have read the Bible and the Bible says to hate the sin but to love the sinner. How do you ever expect to reach them back to Christ when you constantly cast your judgement down on them? You have to offer them support and let the Lord work in their hearts and not have you judging them. God is the final judger not you, God loved everyone despite their sins. If god only loved the perfect ones no one would get his love.

I generally accept the research that shows over +63% of men to be selectively BIsexual. This was even the nature of David & Jonathan in the Scripture (very clear when someone reads the full account of their friendship). The Scripture is much more "liberal" than many people think (Solomon had 700 wives & 300 concubines!) --because the issue is NEVER gender -but the principle that "LOVE WORKS NO ILL". You CANNOT control every thought that enters in your head. Nor what stimulation you receive through it. But you CAN choose your reaction and not to dwell on such thoughts. TEMPTATION IS NOT A SIN! What helped me overcome was focusing on Jesus whenever a "homosexual thought" entered my mind. He will be faithful and not tempt you beyond what you can bare. (1 Corinthians 10:13). I know the world makes it seem like homosexuality is the "incurable sin" but that is a lie straight from the mouth of Satan. (Bare with me here.) God will deliver you from homosexuality just as he would deliver you from lying, cheating, stealing, all of the above. Ask Jesus Christ with your lips to help you overcome this sin if you are truly longing to overcome it. Understand that it is VERY difficult. There will be times when you feel it's impossible.

The word, Christian, means to be Christ-like. Christ isn't a liar, or a theif, or a murder or a homosexual. He is holy and calls us to be holy as well. There are many areas in my life that need to be cleaned up and if someone told me this I wouldn't consider them to judging me,I'd consider them to be right. But that's just my humble opnion.

And what parts of Leviticus 18:22-30, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:24-28, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and 1 Timothy 1:9-10 doesn't he understand. Of did he just rip those verses from his bible? I really love his music*, don't get me wrong, and i love him as a brother in Christ, but he needs to repent and stop leading many astray. But that's just my humble opinion.

If Mr. Boltz claim that he came from a fundamentalist Christian culture & that he can't seem to change from it, in this lies the problem of why he can't get free. Most fundamentalists believe in the power of the Word only to effect change without dealing with demonic posession involved. Besides counseling there must be demonic deliverance( exorcism) also.

A Christian is a person (a sinner saved by grace) who conveys the message mandated by Jesus (The Great Commission) that "All have sinned" (broken God's law/see Romans 3:23), does that make us ignorant? Jesus did not teach an easy gospel! He said "enter in at the narrow gate." The word narrow means "tribulation" or trouble! I would respect Mr. Boltz (and others) if they would at leas acknowledge what the bible says and then if they choose not to follow it, fine. I could make the case that people do get hurt, emotionally, physically, psychologically and spiritually; and that society gets "hurt." I live as though there is a God and his laws and will are very real. Therefore, God is "hurt" or as the bible says "grieved" when we sin against him. The fact that you either don't believe in God or that you "hurt" him does not change that fact!

@rolysantos google "the centurions gay servant"...A lot of scripture was mistranslated from the original scripts because the men who originally translated were not as educated as we think they were. While a good 98% of the KJV is correct it is still that 2% that can cause a lot of damage to mankind. But the bible says "if we confess our sins..," Confess means to "say the same thing" or homologeō (Homo = Same, Logeo = Word, "Same Word") God calls it sin and we agree or "say the same." Instead of insulting this man, we should pray for him. He's struggling against forces which have overcome him. He needs our prayers, not judgement for that is God's place, not ours. The Bible is filled with Scriptures that call homosexual acts "an abomination," "reprobate," "perverted" and "depraved."
Those verses are in both the Old Testament and the New Testament.
Ray knows better but he is in rebellion against God.

@DustyConnie No. The Bible has around five verses, maybe seven verses, not chapters, verses, that look kind of like they condemn homosexuals. If you stare at said verses cross eyed and tilt your head just right. Your kind claim that all of the Bible is literal truth. One would think you'd pay attention when reading such a 'literal and comprehensive' holy book.

@DustyConnie Well, not All male-male action is anal sex. There are other things. 1 Cor 6 and 1 Tim refer to the inserter and insertee. Romans refers to women trading in the use of the vagina for use of their anus (based on pagan religions.) Sodom and Gommorah were trying to rape the angels in order to subject strangers. Read Judah 19. They took the concubine over the man! If one of the angels had been female, or had lot's daughter been a visitor, they would have been ther target instead!

Jesus never preached anything about homosexuality. HE did; however, talk a bunch about not hating and not judging.
As the gay son of a preacher man, I have found that MOST *Christians* have never actually read The Bible.

@dodgyhingst your right. I look at homosexuality as a mental issue, like autism or pedophilism, which I know probably bothers you, but oh well. A lot of people are spreading lies that homosexuality is a different, unforgivable sin, which is pure crap. Fake/mainstream/cultural/social 'christianity' has done more damage to the truth than ANY other group in the world. P.S. This song sucks!

I saw Ray in concert a couple years before I came out, at a local church. I wish as a struggling young gay christian man, I could have shared with him. I am just glad he is here now to help the people like me, who could not conceive that they are still loved. I thank you Ray, for your bravery, and your honesty. *Puts up flame shield*

I know ray will never see this comment, but I have to say this anyway. I grew up listening to this man, in a very controlling "christian" household. All the people posting on here make me sick. I was told I was going to hell, practically disowned, and cut off from the only family I ever had. The only reason being that I shared my feelings that I had felt since I was 10-11. Nothing changed about me other that the fact that the one thing people never knew about me became public knowledge...

Interesting that Ray Boltz mentions nothing about God/our Lord. Also, has Ray read Rom. 1 lately? He even mentions about the Pastor in this song and basically encourages people not to listen to their spiritual authorities. WOW! A man I thought was so godly now heading into the end times walking in the wrong direction. Very sad. We need godly men who will stand for purity during these dark days. Instead, men (& women) are feeding into their own fleshy desires and giving Satan the glory.

Jesus said it, that some will ahve ears but won't hear and some eyes but won't see. Praise God that the war is already won and Satan defeated, and yes we should pray for Ray that he will find his way back to God and pray for his family he left behind. Pray hard for his family, I can't even imagine seeing a Godly man as your husband or father totally turning his back on you and God and walking away into the darkness and sickness of spiritual depravity.

It is worrying : Satan has won a great victory when he succeeded in seducing Ray Boltz over to his evil side. Once, Boltz made inspiratiional Christian songs, but now he has changed his focus to making evil dance-songs about how it is acceptable and natural to be gay.
