Don't you just love it when musicians capitalize off the success of those who came before them? Yes, pioneers like Bob Marley should be recognized as a talented and inspirational musician, but I think too many rap/pop artists these days rely too much on classic music (like Marley) in order to make a name for themselves, and make money off of. Same shit with Biggy and Tupac. I seriously doubt Tupac's mother saw a huge profit from any of the greatest hits albums that came out following his death.

Yea this was tribute. They came out with an album like around 2000 with a teaming up of new artists with bob marley. It was a pretty amazing cd because it seemed like Bob Marly was in the present day almost. You should check the cd out. It has Ziggy, Damien, Rohan, Busta Rhymes, Lauryn Hill, and Erykah Badu to name some names but there are more artists.
