What subjects is he putting forward in this tune, there's no underlying connection between any of the verses, except on how sick and gangsta lil wayne is, but even that doesn't push through as the theme for the tune. I've got friends that can rap better than this. No disrespect to lil wayne (personally) though, cause I don't know what kind of person he is, but it's amazing how he can make money rapping.

Tell me, what sort of social relevance do Jay-Z's songs have? Most of his songs are just about the usual girls/club/guns/etc., so if you think Jay-Z's music is good but Wayne's isn't you're being contradictory. I mean, it's fine if you like Jay-Z but not Lil' Wayne, but don't pretend that one rapper is somehow "higher quality" than the other.

But ok i'll tell you, Bonnie and Clyde is a love story, Off that is about not lingering with trends, DOA is self explanatory, My 1st song is him rapping about the advice Notorious BIG gave him, Blueprint is a song dedicated to his mom, Blueprint 2 is about how he hates everyone talking about him, A star is born is dedicated to numorous rappers. You named 6 songs. And i'm pretty sure Jay-Z has over 200 songs. Go listen to the Blueprint 3 album - I haven't listened to it in a while, but I don't remember any of the songs there having social commentary or some sort of message.
Remember, I didn't say that music NEVER had any meaning like that. Just that it didn't have to. So don't call rappers stupid because most of their songs don't have a message.
