Aly is great, her style is really cool and she will come into her own. I look forward to seeing this girl down the road. and btw its not THAT unusual for gymnasts from the same gym to use similar styles and music.....Domi Moceanu used Kim Zmeskals music in 1993 along with similar choreo and tumbling passes (her middle only had 2 whips to double back tho)...theres a girl at GAGE this year whos floor was shown on NBC who had VERY similar music and choreo and style to Terin Humphrey.

I dont care who says what about Alicia....she is and always will be a class act. She showed MANY times internationally that she was a great gymnast and the mistakes in 08 were not her fault. EVERYONE makes mistakes. She was so beat up and had so many injuries that im suprised she was able to compete at all. and honestly, i dont think even without the falls the US would have won gold. Bars put us back too far. I will always love Alicia and i think her style is well suited for this young girl!

Alicia has been a HUGE trendsetter for USA Gymnastics since 2004 when she burst on the scene. Say what you will about her ( Olympic performance, attitudem, commitment level) she really has made a big impression on an entire generation of gymnasts from the elite level to the way JO level. Her gymnastics style, choreography, attitude, FX music selections, leotard choices, will be long-standing and imitated by so many for years to come and I think that speaks to her contribution to the sport.

Wow! Same floor music, leo, style and many of the same elements on floor, bars and beam as Alicia..! That's nice, but I think she should try to find her own style though! She's like a real copy of Alicia.. But I like her gymnastics!:)
