With 3 seconds of hang time the cliff is closer to 65 feet. Terrible landing, I'm suprised she didn't get hurt. It look like she tried to sit on the water.
That's my kind of cliff jumping. I'm assuming easy access. No tree climbing, no balancing on tree limbs, and no having to run to clear rocks. Just a nice straight cliff to jump. I wanna know where exactly is this place so I can relieve some stress!
i've had some prety horible landings from that height in the past. do it right it's a blast but land on your ass the way i did and you'll be sore for days
@truexromancex Then you are very lucky. Even just one horrible landing, like the one here, can mess you up very badly. Yes, it is water which helps a lot, but people underestimate the forces at work upon landing. You could easily have fucked yourself up in a big way.

i just fractured my t-8 vertebrae on 8-1-9, i jumped from slightly above where it says 76 and hit the water perfect except i was looking at my toes when i went in straight which caused my spine to compress, from this height you hit the water going about 87 miles an hour.

Actually, there were rocks directly below us. So I jumped as far out as I could, and thus lost my balance and started to lean backwards. Sticking my leg out prevented me from landing on my back.
