um, what are you guys doing holding your hand over the bag when dropping the snake in (= within range of snake bite, if it bounces, or simply turns upwards, you cant even see it coming) and twisting the bag around waste height (thighs within range if snake manages to get to entrance). it would make more sense from a safety perspective to drag and twist on the ground. if you employed the drag and twist, it is unlikely that tiger would have escaped bag..
I don't see the pont in the bag. I always use boxes (RUB's), as they're much safer, and you can see inside of them.
