If it still does not work, it might be a Win 7 Problem 1 of my videos shows how to fix it...:)

its common a private repair shop cwn replace the socket cheap

@reply4reply I just got this computer a couple weeks ago though, have been very gentle with it. Must be a factory defect, hoping Asus repairs it for me.

@bloodstains yeah i forgot to say if you have warranty they will fix it for you, don't worry. just do it asap before it gets worst, remember to remove your hard drive so they don't wipe you documents when sending it to them.
