A very interesting "take" on a one of Shel Silverstein's typically strange but often poignant poems. Anyone who didn't "get" the obvious symbolism in the poem needs a strong course in poetry appreciation. As with all Silverstein's work, this can be taken on many levels, depending on who is reading / auditing it. Very clever kids, and Keira is very pretty, as well as obviously intelligent. These kids deserve an A on this project. (And yes, I am a piper too.)

This is my favorite poem by Shel Silverstein because it is so silly and it doesn't make sense. Lighten up peeps. It's all about the silly. Very nice job. =)

I love that song, and I love Shel Silverstein. Silverstein is known for writing poetry that can actually be taken literally, and it's generally not meant to be taken seriously.

The only negative thing I have to say is that it was distracting when the girl flicked her eyes towards the camera. Especially the way she looked at the camera before saying Aaooga.

Umm, ok..........What the crap is the connection between a Turtle and a Bagpipe. Shel Silverstein is a great poet,......but i think the interpretation of the poem is WAY off. I didn't understand you're interpretation at all. Why on earth would a Turtle of all things be in love with a Bagpipe anyhow???? Not being mean or sarcastic, I just don't get it. It made absolutely no sense, not even philosophically. Weeeeeeeeiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrddddd­d. EXPLAIN PLEASE?
