I haven't seen a mangrove pit viper in Thailand - that big. Jeez that's big - or maybe the camera makes it look big? That looks over a meter. Is that true? I have searched everywhere to find these things - and they are elusive, or completely absent in Krabi. You know where yours came from?
i would like to know whether you have videos of bamboo pit vipers. I also wanted to know the difference between a bamboo pit, pope's pit , wagler's pit and a mangrove pit viper apart from the colors.
just a question what was your first venomous snake you owned(one you didnt' catch) and about how old were you with how many years of experience not thinking of getting one i am just wondering
@viperkeeper hi i would like to know whether there is any difference between a pope's pit, wagler's pit, bamboo pit and a mangrove pit viper especially in terms of behavior and adaptation.
Stupid? I recon you're a stupid bloke for letting them take your guns and dangerous animals away. Your not cultured you're kept...like in subject. Freedom is not Free
I watched a snake handler use his head as a target for 5 of these guys in Thailand. They were quick but he was faster lol!! One of them managed to slip away and came towards me and got within 4 feet. My " boys " sucked up into my stomach and I was getting ready to jet when the snake handler grabbed it by the tail and brought it back into the show! Whew! Keep up the awesome work and educating the public Al!!
Hey viper Keeper I've just surcribed to ur videos and i just like to say u have the most beatiful snakes. I know there venomuse but beatifull!!!!keep them coming
Hey I love snakes and I think your videos are great. A very nice way to allow people to meet these unjustly demonized characters (with a good dose of respectful caution) I would suggest, if possible, that you use a tripod more often when you are filming. I have done some video work and I find the steadiness of a tripod mounted camera panning and zooming really creates a professional quality video and allows the camera's autofocus to pick up subtle color and detail. Keep up the great work!
Hi and thanks for the kind words. I have a tripod but should use it more often. I use the camera as a "Shield" to get some of those close up. No tripod lets me quickly go from a close up to a distant shot quickly.
i heard this snake isn't even that poisonous, just gives you a headache for a bit and your good.

I love your snakes. I wouldn't keep them in my house for obvious safety reasons. But if your happy keeping them, then I'm happy watching them.
