how often do you feed them for a proper growth?? im planning on getting my bass to consume on big fish.. probably his own size but seems like he will only eat a small amount now.. any suggestion?
@FishboiFishboi What's your water temp.? I kept my bass at 81 degrees and they ate like monsters....not only in this video but the others as well.I also did regular water changes.
@brandontheawsomeness The feesers are 10 for $1.00.Once I added the 2 peacock bass with the 4 largemouth they were consuming $100.00 a month. That's why I switched back to african cichlids.
A sump provides mechanical and biological filtration like a hang-on filter except the tank drains out the bottom via 2 overflows....one on each side in my case.
wow that sum nice bass. i got mine today from a place i fish alot. I got 2 small mouth n 1 large atm . There goin together pretty well. u shud try that sometime
did you catch all of those basses at the same time because i catch my basses at the same area but different time and they always fight and one always end up dying
how big were they before? cuz i just put a 12 inch lrg mouth in my 40g breeder* its wider than a normal 40 and i was just wondering when i will need to buy a 120 or something around there
awesome tank! i wish i could get one that big but the biggest we have room for is a 30 gallon. i was gonna put bass in there but they'd eat all my other fish so i put in some blue gills instead.
well, the bluegills in local ponds are pretty small, less than 3 inches long.. have an assortment of small fish in there right now. i kept a 8 inch largemouth in a 10 gallon when i was a kid and had it for 2 full years until my dad ate it loll
freaking beautiful tank man...its good to see that you take care of it, i'm the same way about my tank...you should try to get a stripped bass...they look really cool...check out my vid of my tank :)
how did u get them use to the clean water in the tank. i just got a little six inch bass out of a pond and i dont think he would survive in my 55 because of the clean water. i put him in a 5 gallon for now full of his pond water and im gonna gradually clean his pond water and then put him in the 55. if you have any tips that would be great.
i caught 4 2 inchers by a creek by my house its naturaly dirty poluted water. it takes them a few days to get use to the new tank though but after that theyre fine
hey anyone who is willing to help i definitely appriciate it, i am very close to making the decision to get a tank containing possibly a largemouth and a pbass. now what size tank should i start with? im looking to set a price capable of keeping these kinds of fish and then go through with everything when i reach that amount. if i go with that combo what size tank should i get? what should i put in it? scenery wise? and what other animals can i put in it along with the bass? please help me thx.
oh, well like i want to do the same thing but what should i do cuz i dont want to get them on my boat then bring them home and do the rong stuff with the tank and have them die
Hey man you caught them in a cast net which is ILLEGAL in most states! Second your going to want to get your bass of those dirty feeder fish, the bass will not live there whole lifespan. Well thats my two cents, nice tank I just got myself a new 175 gallon tank and Not sure what natives to add. also just changed my 55 gallon to a grass pickerel tank!
