  • @martymar1792 Yes... how much did you pay for it?

  • Pc says Wall Street Journal but if you look closer it's new york times

  • @jetrfung no lol its says wall street journal

  • chaza1001 ,

No one writes viruses for mac , because they know they're defeated before they even try. Its that good.

  • @Snertamius So, you think if mac got just as many viruses programmed for as Windows Apple would maintain control? You do know that there is houndreds of new threats each day? And do you know why there are anti-virus programs for OSX? 'cause there is viruses for OSX..

  • so true!

  • I have first hand experience, and that statement is a lie.

  • Which statement?

Are you going against the expert authority of the Wall Street Journal's technical specialists?

Your first-hand experience? Do you own a Mac with Leopard and a PC with Vista? I own both.

  • I am going against the statement that Leopard is faster than Vista. I use Mac's at my school and at times it can take up to half an hour to open Word. When I go to my technology lesson, where they have the sense to keep using computers, word opens almost instantly. When refering to which OS is better: Macs seem better for multimedia uses, but PCs are more substantial for gaming, office use and multimedia use.

  • Do you know what's funny? You are comparing the speed of the OSs by how fast Word opens. Word is slow on a Mac? Word is made by Microsoft! That's a poor test of OS speed. Here's the thing, Macs are better for multimedia purposes, but PCs are better for games...Wait, Macs can run Windows OS and Mac OS (simultaneously and natively), so you get the best of both worlds. Mac is the only computer you'll ever need. In effect, Macs are better for multimedia, games, office, and all uses.

  • The only problem I see, is that a PC can do everything a Mac does, for cheaper. I can build a PC for half the price of a decent Mac. And what happens when your Mac get outdated? You have to buy a new one. What happens when your PC gets outdated? You upgrade for no where near the cost of a new computer.

  • I have used Windows (3.0, 95, 98, 2000, XP Home, XP Pro, Vista) for over 15 years and Mac for over 2 years. I have had 6 PC's over those years and upgraded 3 of them multiple times, I have built and/or fixed more PC's than I can count, and I currently have a Vista desktop and a Mac Laptop which can run Win XP natively and as an emulation (simultaneously with OSX). I can objectively say that Mac definitely is better.

  • If thats your opinion, thats fine. I'll stick with PCs, you stick with Macs. Everyone's happy.

  • @duudegetamac (Yes yes, I know this is three years later. Do I give a crap? The answer is no)

"I can objectively say that Mac definitely is better"

That is until you Hackintosh your PC (or take the smart route and install Arch Linux/Linux Mint.

  • Also, Macs are upgradeable. I upgraded my 1st Mac multiple times just out of pure delight. I didn't need to upgrade it because even after 2 years it was still stocked with the top of the line specs and hardware. However, with my PC's, I was forced to upgrade them to my dismay because they were outdated.

I saved $ over the long run with a Mac because of the amount of upgrades, alot of IT, and others of a PC.

All this is not even discussing the fact of malware (viruses, spyware, etc.) on PCs.

  • Its called an anti-virus. It stops viruses. No one writes viruses for Macs because no one uses Macs.

  • @duudegetamac Macs do have viruses macs do get blue screen of death (because its related to ram) and macs do freeze these are hardware errors that could be cause in any os and why get a mac when you can run it on your pc HACKINTOSH all the wayyy!!!

  • this isn't completely true because eventually all ur parts are going 2 go outdated and then your gana need a bigger power supply... then your basically gana have to buy a new comp

  • @Midgetman125 *The power supply is probably one of the easiest things to change on a computer.

  • @chaza1001 haha owned

  • I'm all for Mac, but I have to disagree on the "Mac is better for gaming" statement. I use my PC for gaming. Mac for everything else. Many games aren't made to be compatible with Macs.

  • Have you seen the one on "The Onion"? I'll have to chech the "NY Times" more often.

  • I'm not sure if I have seen the one on the Onion. Do you have a link maybe? (cause I want to see it)

I have 6 of the banner get a mac ads in a playlist on my channel, one of them might be the one on the onion, but I'm not sure.

  • You have it already. I just saw it with the "trial" watercopy on top.

  • Oh ok thanks!

Which do you have, Mac or PC?
