  • @Josephpotato ... mRNA is the code that ribosomes read to create protein and miRNA's regulate gene transcription...tRNA carries amino acids,,, anyway there are many types of RNA with different functions. im not a numpty..

  • finished hon bio in highschool, now i forgot EVERYTHING lomfao!OAsD!

  • Wow that was awesome :D good work

  • omg

  • I dont understand what all those flying "v" are before the chromosomes form. shouldn't it look more like long strands of chromatin?

  • t was awsome,, i understand it better. thanks.

  • t was awsome,, i understand t better

  • The Bohr atom is whole insufficient to explain cellular observations.

Is it so hard to understand that the telescope wasn't the best devise to imagine the atom?

Macro is the micro... umm no, although it worked as a conceptual place holder.

The new thing is looking at quantum properties.

  • thnx for the video we using it in school

  • it will help us to understand if you will add audio explanations

  • it will help us to understand if you will add audio explenations

  • I wish I could just look at my arm and see this happening in realtime...

  • Cellular biology IS amazing. Having to memorize it all, however, is slightly annoying :D

  • 58 million = number of words in the 2009 Encyclopedia Britannica

3 Billion = number of base pair in the Human Genome

51 Sets of the Encyclopedia Britannica = amount of info in the Human Genome

Kool Aid = used to promote the idea that chance is a creative force

  • I think this is amazing :D

  • I remember back in college. Our prof would tell us: Take a chair, put it in the middle of your living room and start skipping around it singing "PROPHASE-METAPHASE-ANAPHASE-TELOPHASE".

  • "wow" is the only word i can think of

  • RESEARCH IT NOW!! The Fountain of Youth is very possible. OMG!!!

  • 9 people flunked biology and wanted revenge.

  • there are about 75,000,000,000 cells in the human body. if each cell in your body was the size of a penny then they could make about 35 empire state buildings.

  • @stewartcody14 sorry i mean 75,000,000,000,000

  • I'm fucking obssesed with genetic...sombody help meh

  • fine demonstration

  • excellent video..........

  • Whoever composed this music is a genius.

  • I was under the assumption that the microtubules actually moved the chromosomes to the center of the nucleus rather than the chromosomes aligning spontaneously and then the MTs connecting to the kinetechore; which is the correct order of action?

  • the music? ahahahha is the mitosis an horror film?

  • My teacher asked me to notice the color of the chromosomes while watching this, any know why?

  • We dont need a god to explain the Universe.

  • @IBittorrent LOL..yes iam sure this can happen all by chance..what a joke..u have some faith in science and evolution..science cant assemble one single protein or get all LEFT handed amino acids needed for life.prokaryotic cells have DNA so complex its laughable to think they could form by chance and time..simple chemicals could never make life,,evolution has become its own paradox

  • @5tonyvvvv I don't think it's "by chance". But the thought of a god is stupid too. It's just about structures that become more and more complex along time. That's what we call "evolution". It's not like one day there are aminoacids and the other day there are mammals roaming the land. It's a process. But if you're stupid enough to need to explain everything with the existence of a superior being, I can live with that.

  • @5tonyvvvv

Well let think of this, evoulution occured, the first very very simple cells formed and from them more complex cells like prokaryotic cells formed. Also go to youtube type this in "Into The Universe With Stephen Hawking - The Story Of Everything - 5 of 9"

Than go to this time in the video

    6:00

watch that and it will show how life started, and I am pretty sure Steph Hawking has thought of this more that you, so yea.

  • @IBittorrent Atheist morons need to learn basic chemistry and Homochirality if they life could happen by chance and time, first life by chance would be its own Paradox..and could never happen..science has reached a dead end..only stubborn atheist think it can happen purely by time and chance, even evolution scientists know simple chemicals cant make life..proteins will only use the LEFT handed variety of amino acids DNA and RNA only use RIGHT.together they are TOXIC TO LIFE!!!!!!

  • @5tonyvvvv

What do you mean I need to learn, you are the one who is copying other people work and just posting it over again. And also I am getting my PhD is physics and I am more than well qualified to know what I am taking about.

    ALSO

it illegal to copy somebodies work with out their permission.

By this I am refering to the fact of you copying text from this website:

    godandscience

  • @IBittorrent well think about this...be prepared to answer this one because i said the same thing. We may be able to explain the universe but can you explain the explantions. things don't just appear out of the blue always with science its always a chain...chains have to begin somewhere.

  • @demaphoon

Why do you main to explain the explanations, the Universe as we know it started from the Big Bang, and from there on the laws of physics and probability lead to life evolving to become very complex. So we don't need god to explain but jest need to look by ourself and realise everything.

  • @IBittorrent I just want to know what was the genesis of the big bang...science is so intresting you can never learn it all. I just main on explaining the explanations because i love to learn all i can. Knowledge is beautiful.

  • @demaphoon

Okay where do you want me to start how the Big Bang happened or why the Big Bang happened. Well probably you are going to ask why it happened. That is because our current string theory states that we have the three spacitial dimensions and the 1 time time demensions which we feel and another 7 demensions which are curreled up so small, at a quantum level. Now when the dimensional bains collide the are beleived to create universe. So this is how it could have happened.

  • @IBittorrent Intresting i will have to investigate that theory. It sounds so intresting and powerful...What else do you know about the universe i'm dying to know. :D

  • How the hell?

  • Omg it was sooo funny I was saying every part and didn't know that it was written on the side then I watched it again and said every part befor the words came up:) it was sooo fun thanks for posting this video:))))

  • thank you i got that question right on my test because of this. i had no idea what was happening before i saw this.

  • good video... good work

  • The Designer is amazing!

  • That was amazing!

  • evolution is no longer a theory..its a Law. go check.

  • @lordwolve Evolution is still a theory based on many many assumptions.

  • @youguystube No ..it not!..if you want to pretend about knowing science then understand the difference between a theory and a LAW..once it is a LAW..it is unchangeable..debate it all you like but it has been PROVEN. that is the difference..what your personal views are is something else, but don't try to say something doesn't exist just because you don't like it.

  • @youguystube ok you do realise tha evolution has been proven?

But this is beside the point, cool video.

  • @spacecowboy95 HAHA.... OF COURSE NOT PROVEN... FAR FAR AWAY FROM BEING PROVEN.

  • @youguystube Yeah dude, I'm a biology student, we see evolution happening under microscopes all the time, we use artificial selection all the time. We can trace the evolution from one virus to the next. Its an observed fact.

You probably dont have an education, so just take my word for it.

  • @youguystube

A theory with much more expedience than god.

  • Doesn't the nucleus form after division???

  • centrosomes are freaky

  • this video is soooooooooo awesomeeeee

  • Since evolution is a biology driven theory, I believe one must acknowledge the role cosmology, quantum-physics and other fields of study might have to conribute, to form a fuller picture. At the very least one must temper ones faith in Darwinianism with the knowledge that it draws it's conclusions on the origin of life from a "partial" observation of life and the universe. Biology after all studies a very small subset of the total material energy.

  • @mhearstify, what about artificial evolution that's already being widely used to "evolve" solutions to problems by simulating a cycle of gradual minute changes and selection for fitness as a solution? How long before such systems can take into account not just everything that nature does via physics and biology, but also completely metaphysical things, like how appealing we consider the result? Our abstract cognitive skills are just the most recent in a long line of such fortuitous accidents.

  • REALITY CHECK

Darwinists and all those who place there faith in a purely naturalistic account of the origin of life, followed by a naturalistic evolutionary process, need to use videos like this as a reality check. The improbability of cells arising by a non-intelligent process can be demonstrated on the back of a postcard. It's time to come clean about this to the general public if the integrity of science is to be maintained.

  • @IDtaksovr A postcad eh? Well that seems to be juust the same space of say...2 of these comment boxes?

Go on, debunk evolutionism, were all waiting with baited breath...

  • @Vildasnaga

If you want the full debunking treatment, then you will have to post a comment on one of my uploads. BTW, I debunk Darwinian evolution in it's modern formulations.

  • @IDtaksovr ha...another attempt...while ur at it.. u can spread ur ideas by calling on The Atheist Experience tv show...check its channel out on youtube...if u feel ur even nearly close to not makin a fool out of yourself then i encourage u to call on the show..

  • @Sciborg09

"if u feel ur even nearly close to not makin a fool out of yourself ...."

Looks like you're scared to make a fool; of yourself. Let's see if you can defend the claim that cellular processes evolved throuigh Darwin's blundering mechanism.

  • @IDtaksovr ...first of...i dont believe in evolution cuz i know exactly hw it works (lets be honest, very few people know how it ACTUALLY 100% works), i believe its true cuz of the fact that theres no1 else who can come to a better conclusion...if u can ud win the nobel prize...

i hope thats enough inspiration to take ur stand to a public level instead of arguing with a layman bout something proposed one of the most contributing scientist in biology

  • @IDtaksovr btw u disagree with 'darwinian' evolution in its modern form' right?

therefore u disagree with the theory implemented today... ha...having said this i wanna watch ur vids and see wat u have in mind...this oughta be good...

PS:- im not asserting that ur wrong ( id ont even know ur evidence etc)..im just saying that if u HONESTLY (unlike other creationists) think that ur findings are legit and unbiased for trying to come to a certain conclusion, then u should get a public stand...GL

  • @Sciborg09

The animations on my channel, (both my own uploads and my favourites) show some of the biochemical process that occur in the cell. BTW. these animations are GROSSLY simplified. Real cells contain millions of tiny "computers", tens of thousands of cellular "trucks" etc. Now those unfathomably complex processes within the cell R supposed to have evolved without any intelligent input. How ridiculous is that?

  • @IDtaksovr i think ur not acknowledging m last reply and still trying to put forward ur reason which i dont understand (cuz i didnt study anything bout how it works)...and my belief in evolution does not require me too (directly anyway)..

look i know it sounds like a faith-based conclusion...but im saying this the third time...IF U HONESTLY THINK YOU'RE CORRECT, THEN I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO FORWARD WITH YOU'RE CONCLUSIONS AND BE THE FIRST TO DEFY EVOLUTION...

  • @Sciborg09

"BE THE FIRST TO DEFY EVOLUTION... "

Intelligent design doesn't necessarily deny that evolution occurred. Life may have evolved under the intelligent guidance of a an intelligent designer. ID is not against "evolution" in the broad sense, but is against undirected (naturalistic) evolutionary theories such as Darwinism.

  • those are the most gigantic nuclear pores I've ever seen

  • Just amazing...

  • Picture the following two interviews on Saturday Night Live.

First interview: Intelligent design proponent is ridiculed by scientist.

Second interview: A scientist that listens for sounds of intelligent life from outer space is asked to explain "how they will know" when they hear something that can ibe dentified as intelligent. (as this video plays in the back ground)

  • its amazing , my friend, thankssssss very much. its help a lot . keep it up

  • çok güzel paylaşım eline sağlık..

  • ALLAH-U AKBAR ! !

  • @TonyParamatti

THIS is when a Muslim should say Allah-u-akbar, NOT when a Muslim is sawing off some poor soul's head.

  • 23 of genss from ur dad 23 from ur mom

  • lol we watch this in meh science class lol

  • The only thing that bothers me a bit from the vid is that the "tug of war" of prometaphase is not shown. The chromosomes are shown just aligning themselves for no reason.

    Great vid though :)

  • Comment removed

  • wheres anaphase?

  • More than words can describe. Cellular biology is amazing.

  • And this is all happening in your body while your reading this sentence. It's happening ALL the time.

  • AMAZING!

  • this is awesome! How it was video..

But I'm wondering why does the Nuclear envelope dissappears.

My opinion is I think because Lysosome's function is to break down old cell parts for the cell to re-use..

I'm not really sure, I'm a little kid in middle school and I love science its the most interesting subject at school (:

  • There is a mistake because polars microtubules are missing

  • It's amazing how wonderfully complex the "simple" cell is. And some people think it came about by chance! God is awesome.

  • well actually the cell got that complex very slowly (millions of years) via natural selection. It didnt 'by chance' spontaneously pop out of nowhere..

  • "the cell got that complex very slowly via natural selection"

This is a very ignorant statement. Natural selection cannot create anything, it only works on already-living organisms that reproduce. It is ridiculous to postulate that the complex structure of DNA came about by chance. It is further absurd to believe that all the information necessary to build a self-sustaining, replicating organism spontaneously arose in the DNA.

    *Continued*

  • Primitive DNA is not said to be complex. This can be seen in prokaryotes.

  • the cell got that complex very slowly via natural selection"This statement was not intended to be the 'answer' to the origin of life..just the process from simple to complex. No scientist believes life started at DNA. In the Miller-Urey experiment it was demonstrated that amino acids can form via (Non-Biological) natural chemical reactions from an environment similar to early earth.

  • The simplest known living organism has 482 genes and it can only survive by parasitizing other more complex organisms, which provide the nutrients it cannot manufacture for itself. So evolutionists must postulate a more complex first living organism with even more genes.

It is estimated that the (im)probability of life arising by chance is one in a trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion. If you want to believe this happened, fine, but don't call it science.

  • But it still is a question about where RNA (Not DNA. DNA proposed to have evolved from RNA) arose from, 'iron-sulfur world theory ' and 'RNA world hypothesis' are current theories. If these theories are believed to be 'absurd', I would be interested to know ones own theories on the origin of life, minus the simple ' god did it' theory.

  • just to correct myself.. DNA is proposed to have evolved from a common ancester of RNA.

  • Wow. Fantastic Video.

  • ggreat

  • beatiful, awesome , i don't know any words to discribd it!

  • amazing video. made mitosis alot more clear for me

  • awsome...

  • plz write in english alwayz...4 indians

  • This is not a stupid video! You just don't know anything about mitosis! This video is awesome! Come back when you actualy know something about mitosis

  • its more of a visual glimpse of the stages of mitosis. I think it has good information. (it more for ppl who already know the procedure and just want the visual).

  • Tell that to hardworking scientists and doctors who have advanced the human race to where it is today. Oh, and mitosis allows you to continue living and to stay healthy, so kindly SHUT THE FUCK UP! Thanks.

  • Thanks for the reply..I did google centrioles but it didn't seem like what I was thinking of :-)

I say a video clip of them on a tv program and wanted to try find a video clip of them...seems to me that they are a good example of intelligent design in nature by an intelligent designer (God) ;-)

  • Does anyone know what is the name for the little robot-like things that piece together the DNA components into their correct order to construct DNA strands.?

I saw it on a documentary a while back. They are oval shaped and have little tails which propel them around...amazing stuff!! (hope I wasn't dreaming this haha)

  • yea, their called centrials, and only animal cells have them. Plant cells hold the sister-chromatides with just the spindal fibres.

  • no, they aren't "centrioles". The "robot like things that piece together the DNA components" is the polymerase enzyme.

  • detailairbrushing: Polymerase is the structure you are asking for. It is the main control structure in matching DNA and RNA chains to their opposites (A with T, G with C, and A with U in the case of RNA).

  • Anyone know the song???

  • muito bom esse video inclusive os profs de biologia passam muito pra nossa turma

  • This animation is wrong. During the profase, polar microtubules link to chromosomes and carry them in the equatorial floor of the cell. So the chromosomes unlinked by one or either microtubule groups(a group for each pole for each chromatid) can't aligned to the others, they are exluded by the cellular division and lost or the chromatids aren't divided equally in two cells. -> This of the video isn't a real mitosis because all chromosomes can't aligned! ...Bye!

  • No. That doesn't happen until metaphase.

  • Giacomo: your grammar is terrible, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

  • Wow, you are a retard. Do us all a favor and learn how to properly speak before trying to explain cellular processes. Oh, and that does not happen until metaphase, so, you're wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • It's wrong the spindle fibers align the chromosomes not the chromosomes line up and they attach

  • True. They really missed that detail.

  • why do they make it seem all scary with the music???

  • thanks to you..I DIDN'T FAIL MY SCIENCE TEST!!!thanks dude!

  • Comment removed

  • nice.

  • its almost as if the spindles destroy a resonance frequency causing the neucleus to dissolve could this be possible?

  • Awesome vid, even has better graphics than my science book

  • Amazing...

Love the music. What is it?

  • And just think, all this came about by a chaotic cluster of atoms, having a reversed effect to the point where chaos will actually createm instead of destroying, which it is known for. It's a miricale!

  • thanks for the upload

    5*

  • its not always that science and religion have to be against each other. sometimes, the answer has something to do with religion... its all so cool..

  • Mitosis owns me!

  • Is it at all possible to not poison these types of things with the tired "religion vs. science" debate...

  • I agree!!!... this debate is getting very tiresome... lets just sit back and enjoy this incredibly well crafted video

  • Science is amazing, as is this video. Any intelligent Christian understands the importance of the scientific method, as well we understand how science can give us perspectives and confirmations. The point is, no matter how far we dig, we will NEVER explain it all, nor will we explain what started it all, with the scientific method. God created everything, and this shows has his signature. We are without excuse, because his divine qualities are shown in creation. Jesus died for us all.

  • super sweet

  • Hmm how bout you should stop being gullable and taking everything you read in a text book for truth. I'm sick of this earth is billions of years old bull...it's around 6000 years old. God is the master mind behind how cells work...I'm only spreading the truth because I like people and I don't want you atheists to suffer. Open your heart and come to Christ before your life is over. It will fill you with so much joy and you won't take life for granted. We are not a product of chance.

  • I really really really hope you were joking.

  • im with you man, cells are amazing. if you read about them then you know that there is a God.

  • that's grat , respect for you , could you tell me what software did you use to animate this ??

  • @rikimaru: Hmm that happens because I like to write short replies, duh. Well, oh my lord!! I said billions of years instead of 1 billion, that's sure a reason to insult me... And no thanks, I don't watch things like history channel, and yes I read tons about this issue, mainly because microbiology is my field of study.... @Rammat: I never said that bacteria are simple. Btw, you should check Craig Venter's work, he announced that they have the basic genetic information to create a simple cell

  • oh god, cant creationists just piss off into their church groups and leave real science alone, or do you want to ruin that aswell with your bronze age bullshit?

  • awesome, looked like some video game.

  • wow!

  • it`s not exactly correct but it has it`s most MAIN things in it

    thanx for upload btw

  • Life is weird.

  • Life's computer.

  • Programmed by...?

  • We'll most likely never know, there is no conceivable way to obtain some sort of ultimate knowledge. Deal with it.

  • ok ok i have not gotten to this YET in ap bio but mitosis is cell division or what?

  • It`s a body cell division phase

  • too perfect to be a mistake or fluke...

  • This is one amazing video. The graphics are amazing, and it goes through each stage really clearly. Thank you!!!

  • my micro professor is going to love this.

  • We are wonderfully and fearfully made...emphasis on fearfully.

  • Very nice video.

  • Nicely done

  • this music reminds me of the music that's played in line at the haunted houses at cedar point during halloweekends

  • pity not everybody knows how uber interesting science is.

  • Creepy music...AMAZING GRAPHICS

  • I noticed a lot of these kinds of cell-based animations have creepy music. It kind of scares me.

  • I'm debating creationists all over the place, and when I want a break I watch these videos. I reflect on how complicated things actually are, and how much we know about why they are that way, and then I lament the fact that the people I'm debating just wouldn't believe that something this wonderfully complex and beautiful could arise without divine aid.

oper25: I agree SCIENCE DOES RULE!

  • To me , even a single plant , flower or a tree is a miracle , and a mystery . How can we explain that all atoms , molecules , cells , can self-organize and grow to make a living organism with functional tissues and organs (most of all : organs that can perceive the world , perception and senses ), well adapted to its environment .Imagine you breath without any effort , it's an automatic machine ! life is a mystery....

  • Totally agree. This shows that God could possibly exist. Some creator

  • The fact that you don't understand the origin of something complex doesn't mean that a supernatural intelligence deliberately created it. To even suggest such a thing without a shred of evidence is absurd.

  • If you can't even figure out how it's done how then can mud and lightning come up with something so complex?

  • There are a lot of things that we don't know yet. Our knowledge is limited to what people have discovered and shared with society.

Was Apollo pulling the sun across the sky 4000 years ago, or had we just not figured out what was really going on?

  • HAHAHA you literally jacked that argument from Ben Stein. You might want to research some abiogenisis theories. "mud and lightning" is one that only Ben Stein uses for his shitty movies.

  • It's hardly mud and lightning. Abiogenesis is a complex subject, and we are figuring it out. The fact of abiogenesis is one point that both creationists and evolutionary scientists both accept.

  • And you have the evidence that this can come about if a lipid bilayer is jostled about in an ancient ocean thermal vent?

  • What you see there are animal cells that have evolved for billions of years, bacteria are perfectly living and they don't need all that fuss of organelles and complex structures

  • uhmmm animal cells that have evolved for billions of years?....wrong------ first the earth is 4.5 billion years old...second the first organism wasn't animal cells it was single cell organisms like bacteria, not animal cells...animals cells came to be no longer than a billion..IF...IFFFFFFF that...maybe younger...you need to read more and maybe watch more history channel and stuff...look at you trying to look smart and stuff...you just sound dumb you dumb dumbass

  • Oh Em Geee THis is awsomeeee i wonder how this is done but i do belive that the miticular cycle is better than this other than that SCIENCe RULESSSSSSSSSSS

  • awesome

  • perfact. imean this is great........

  • nice job, really cool!
