@asdh34gfj9 Take your time and learn it. I can appreciate that he showed it at this level of complexity, as most musicians will play something real hot and then when they teach it, they "dumb" it down to a point where it sounds nothing like when they were playing it.

I have about four of the hear and play dvds. They are definitely worth the money. I came up under some musicians that were reluctant to show anything they knew.

As a beginner, i'm lookin' for vids that have a step by step process. Tho' u do magnificent work, urs was a bit confusing, but I finally figured it out. It would be helpful if you explained the bass on the 2-5-1-4. Ur hitting the root of the chord then completing the bass with the 3rd & 7th. That should be explained. Giving the numbers is more helpful than giving notes of the scale. At least it is 4 a beginner like me. But u are 1000% better that most utube teachers. Thx 4 the lesson.

Yeah I know what you mean, but this clip is actually from a Masters Series dvd designed for more experienced musicians and it assumes that at this point you know what he's talking about. They do have some beginner videos on here too though...

I just got this one last week. I havbenmt even really gotten into yet because im still mastering the others first. thats the key, buy it before it sells out, and then master it when you get to it, lol. each dvd, with serious practice, will have you beasting in a few weeks to a few months. a few weeks to get it all down. a few months to master it in every key.

Yup this is "Bless that Wonderful name of Jesus." But if you have GospelKeys 300, you know that the same 4 parts are found in HUNDREDS of praise songs. So if you take away Mike's melody, it would be "this little light of mine," "praise him (fast version), and a host of others.
