It's been 21 years now since we've lost Jim Henson. And all I can say is, this is the perfect song to remember Henson by. It just wouldn't be the same without Jim Henson performing it, which is why I think they made the wise decision to reuse the original Henson voice track for Ernie for this version.

@markospantos ...Yeah, that's exactly my problem. I have that vinyl record...and our record player has long since been broken. Plus the fact that since the most devastating storm visited our country (Ondoy--here in the Philippines) ...that record was part of the items that got destroyed in the flood's wake. Yep...I had to leave a lot of my precious collections on the first floor. So sad.

Aaron Neville has one of the most unique voices in music and harmony is a lot more difficult than singing lead. What a wonderful duet this is. I used to do a solo act...just me and my guitar. This song always got the most compliments because people had no idea where it came from. When I told them Sesame Street they'd get this blank look on their faces. ha ha
