Won't comment on Doherty seeing as he is a smackhead and that is enough comment as it is, but how can you say he is a far cry from Noel Gallagher? AM's lyrics are coherent, as in they tell a story without being just jumbled words that are forced into making a rhyme, and they are also very true whilst being funny. No doubting Oasis's pedigree, but let's be honest, they were hardly lyrical geniuses.
