The company announced today that Rugby 2012 is in the works for both Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. The game is being developed by HB Studios, and is currently set for a late 2011 release. While that may be a long ways off, keep in mind it coordinates with the 2011 Rugby World Cup, which is taking place in New Zealand.

I bought this game when it first came out and it was only £20 so not much complaints about the price. but if you play rugby in real like and compare it, its like your playing a complete diffrent sport. every single back has hands from god. once jason robinson gets it youve scored. you can kick from ridiculous distance, but i geuss that what makes the game so playable. i agree that it would be so hard to make a realistic ruck system. hope theres a new one coming out so i can go on xbox live.

you can't judge it from a game. it looks stupid because not much effort is put into ea's rugby franchise vs football or basketball. If you knew how to play you would realize how difficult and dynamic the sport is.
