A CHRISTMAS CAROL bombed when it was first published. It went on to be the most filmed story in history. IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE bombed at the box office, but became the biggest selling video of all time. A CHRISTMAS STORY also bombed at the box office, but it's now getting the recognition it so richly deserves.

I highly recommend the book by Jean Shepherd, IN GOD WE TRUST; ALL OTHERS PAY CASH. Never a dull moment.
