@srussell1818 i take it you've never done the same, it will literally suck you into another reality, into something... well its impossible to explain, and back. you WILL learn things, you WILL trip your ass off, and yes, you WILL lose your identity entirely for a short period. It's at the point when and where you are nothing, that you can truly learn, and experience a small glimpse of what's beyond... But trust me, you come back the same, the only difference is your consciousness is higher.

@Sternertime I've most definitely done the same. All I learned is that I never want to do that shit again. I don't really get your "when you are nothing, you can experience a glimpse of what's beyond" statement. All I experienced was an "I want to go back to reality right now" experience.

@srussell1818 dude its all in your mind. if you go in without fear, and the will to use reason while you're tripping, it can be such a valuable experience. i like the reality check, after you're done you have a much better grasp on your life, and i find you get a better idea of how to achieve what you want

@Sternertime Oh I've tried it a few times and it was equally awful for me each time. I guess the first time sucking didn't really aid to my mind state going into it for the other times. I've had much better, and equally enlightening as you described, experiences with DMT. I think the "reality check" for you was mostly just relief for me that that terrible experience was over lol

@srussell1818 oh yeah like dont get me wrong, ive had a really bad trip off of it, and sometimes you just dont want to ever do it again, but for me in the end it's worth it. I've always wanted to try dmt, the waking dream state must be just amazing, theres a lot of mystery there too, your brain releases DMT only at 2 times... when you're dreaming, and when you're dying. Wierd

@Sternertime It's also released when you're born. I've only really "broken through" as they call it with DMT once, and it was an incredible experience. Complete ego death. I wouldn't describe it as a waking dream state, because you're more of an observer than an active participant. From the people I know who've done it, the ones who tried to control it in any way instead of just going along for the ride were the ones who had a bad time. I guess its similar to Salvia in that regard.
