  • Just wanted to give you a little heads up. If you take the gun and move it behind the blade of your pelvis it will carry more comfortably and conceal better. Out on the side of your hip like that there isn't enough body to conceal the weapon. Just a little something a friend of mine in law enforcement told me.

  • i have the same pistol but without the rail. good gun. now ill have to consider using it as a concealed gun if i get a permit. criminals like unarmed civilians. thanks for the video

  • i think this will be my first gun nice review

  • it does print quite a bit.

  • Cool Review on the P95DC. I have the full size p95 which is still a mid size but harder to conceal.

  • I like the chair rail on the wall; looks classy! Nice rig Jfrink2! Good to see fellow Ruger owners carrying concealed.

  • Nice vid and at first with your arms down you do see a little print of your firearm but I know to be looking for it to based on the type video. Crossbread Holsters work great you should get one.

  • Jfrink, your videos finally helped me decide on a gun, thanks!

  • I myself would carry a S&W .500. Very concealed in my book! haha! I think the Wather PPK is a very nice hand gun to conceal. My mom does and it's great!

  • Good demonstration. I have found it surprisingly easy to conceal the P95 and P89 because of the relatively thin grips - not much thicker than most single stacks. I like the P95 a lot in the DC model and used to have one and regret getting rid of it. Now I have the P89DC but I still miss the P95DC. I do not like Ruger's safety/decocker versions though (bulky, ugly, hard to manipulate and unnecessary IMO) so it sucks they apparently discontinued the DC versions which are so much nicer.

  • @thebedula YOU HAVE BOTH? I can't decide between the p89 & the p95

  • Nice video. Informative.

  • i conceal carry a p95 IWB all day long.and that is my secondary(backup)..my go to conceal( dont laugh) is a 1968 dan wesson arms "44" C.T.G.identical to "dirty harrys" smoke pole.the p95 sits in a fobus ru 97 paddle holster.the 44 conceals in a "uncle mikes" side kick ..size 3.i conceal this choice daily with simply a t-shirt and a any button down type shirt(long or short sleeve with minimal printing the accurracy of the wesson is spot on,coupled with the rugers "32" round capacity(extra clip)

  • Question. How do you load the p95 without the hammer being cocked back while your out and about? I bought a Berreta tomcat 3032 and all you do is pop up the barrel and load the bullet in there so you don't have to walk around with the hammer cocked back!

I want something bigger than a .32 since it's winter and i'll be wearing heavier clothes, so the P95 caught my eye.

  • That is what a decocker is for. It safely (you still always keep pointed in a safe direction just in case it fails) drops the hammer but prevents the hammer from hitting the firing pin.

  • what state are u in? i live in Sacramento, CA, no CCW issued. hate it.

  • That sucks about Sacramento. I lived there for twelve years and then moved to the USA. Now I carry what I want whenever I want and my famlily and I are not helpless victims-to-be for criminals. Funny thing though is the crooks seem to know just about anyone they would terrorize here could be packing because I have seen zero attitude from gangbangers toward civilians where I live now unlike in Cali where they always try to intimidate. What a difference an armed society makes I suppose.

  • You won't carry the P95 for long, eventually you start leaving at home or wont carry it with certain clothes. My first carry gun was a p95, after about 4 or 5 months of carrying it I found myself not carrying as often as I wanted to, so I went and got myself the Kel Tec P3at, that baby is a dream to carry, doesn't have the power of the Ruger but I carry my Kel Tec even if am wearing basketball shorts and a tank top. Let me know if you still carry that p95 in about 3 or 4 months.

  • Other than summertime I find no problem carrying my P89 IWB like jfrink2. The P89 is actually a little bigger too and have been doing this for many years. The grip on the P89 and P95 is IMO perfectly suited for ccw as it is thin compared to just about any other double stack out there. As he pointed out it helps a lot to wear a size bigger waste pants than what you otherwise would. I know what you are saying though - smaller is more comfortable no doubt but not necessarily a deal breaker.

  • 4got to tell you: See if you like the BIANCHI"BLACK WIDOW" Outside the waist band. I reall y like it (2nd to the one you have) but it is pretty concealed.

Its $60 around town but I talked a guy down to $35 for mine. Its Brown Leather with a thumb break snap & you 'HAVE' to break it in with the P95. Later.........BoogeyMan in Texas!

    Stay Safe.

  • Thanks. I'll look into that one. I was planning on ordering the Crossbreed Supertuck for IWB carry.

  • That is the P95 & The Blackhawk "Suede" Holster I carry. Very comfortable with jeans/Shorts & even PJ's around the house. Yep, I carry at home too. People say "Why"? Because a Gun is like a seat belt,if your not wearing it when you need it, Its too late. How do you like that setup? I love mine.I found that here in El paso at a gun store by accident. It was only $12.We went and shoot 300 rnds. of (9mm) today & 50 rnds of 12 gauge,WOW,Im hurtin' tonight! LOL Take care, BoogeyMan in Texas
