Hi, great handy work. My question I want to know did you come up with the design plans for your hat ? If not is there a pattern which can be purchase?
@kyddoemiko100 Yes both last two hats the yellow and the one before where my own design. The first hat is the Tychus and you can find it on knitty.com
Boy, I do hope you get this comment AND respond back to me on it. I would love to get that "yarn guide" you show. I've done searching on the net but can't find it anywhere. Can you help? Thanks! (Another man who knits!)
thank you...for your response...i seen it in the store and kept picking it up...but i visualize how it can be done since english method are throwers..i will get one just to see what i can do...thank you
To answer your questions and an be below a) If you want to use small needles for small items I will suggest to do the Magic loop technique, which will allow you to have just one Circular needle.
b) The yarn is Lamb's Pride worsted Lemon Drop (Yellow) and Onix (black) are the two colors I used. The Hufflepuff hat I made in Tapestry Crochet with a F or G Hook will work fine, if I would be knitting this hat I will use us 6, I am a tight knitter.

Love the hat and the tutorial but, especially, the LOOP - never thought to add one before. Thanks for sharing!

How nice - a man who knits! And likes Harry Potter, which is wonderful.
I have two questions for you:
a) how does one knit fairly small pieces on circular needles?
b) what yarns (brand, type, colour) and needles did you use for the Hufflepuff hat?
Thank you and keep knitting =)
