On behalf of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, savethescc(com) is aiming to make an impact at the San Diego ComicCon 2010, where over a hundred thousand fans of genre television, as well as major networks and media will be gathering this July.
Our goal is to fund the return of the mobile billboard to circle the convention area on the busiest days of the con and to fund promotional giveaways to distribute with our message.
Thank you sir. I am waiting until the show gets canceled. Then I will take all of the episodes and make a short-to-medium length movie out of it, faithful to James Cameron vision of Terminator.
FYI this is James Cameron's Terminator universe, where machines are supposed to be distinctly inhuman, cold and mechanical. I did my best to accomodate that.
If you think about it, the facial expressions are also things that make the feel of the film more amateur. The guy, playing the terminator makes a mistake also when following John out of the classroom. As he leaps off a ledge he opens his mouth unconsciously... why would the machine do that? And thats just another example. the film itself could have been made so much better.
He also tilts his head and makes a face before being hit by a car in the next episode. If an actual robot saw it coming in advance he could not waste that time being cute for the camera, but sidestep the vehicle or shoot at the driver.
The show is unsalvageable, really, and I hope it was canceled for good.
well, you got rid of most of the bad parts, that's for sure. but the part when cromarty (or how the hell it is spelled) takes out his gun from his leg really bothers me. i could have made up a shot like that when i was 12 for god's sake.
I had to resequence that part to portray events differently. The initial shot of Cromarty firing was unusable, because in the same shot John Connor was shown being taken by complete surprise, and the whole point was to avoid that. So that made things tricky. I am however looking forward to your take on that sequence.
